I was unpacking the bags. I didn't want to bother mom for the same.
All the bags were kept in mom's room so I started unpacking them.
I opened Hadley's suitcase and on the top of everything was that Ouija board.

The same Ouija board and the crystal.
I was shocked.
"Lisa. Don't touch it. It's Wendy's.", Hadley said.
I was about to turn back to look at her when I heard.
"Shh. My baby girl. Let me put you to sleep"......

I was too afraid to look back.
I could easily recognize this voice.
Amelia.
Gathering all my guts I turned my head to look behind.

Hadley and mom were talking to each other and giggling.
Amelia wasn't there.
Was I just imagining things.
I looked back at the suitcase.
The Ouija board was gone.

Maybe I was too stressed and lack of sleep was the reason that I was imagining things.

I brushed my thoughts away and went to my room to take a nap.
My room wasn't as big as that in the previous house but it's okay.
Atleast we are safe here.

I didn't even realise that I had fallen asleep.
It was strange.
I knew I was dreaming, I knew that I was asleep, still I wasn't able to wake myself up.
It was something like sleep paralysis maybe.

I could see myself and Tara sitting in the attic of our previous house wherein Tara had an insight sort of a thing.

Tara just put her hands on the Ouija board and closed her eyes.
That looked scary.
She was constantly muttering something. I sat close to her and listened to what she was trying to say.

"This is a beautiful house , trees, backyard, verandah."
Okay. This is the house we are living in.
A three storey house"
Three storey? Well it's not our house then.
"I see this little girl playing in the backyard. Hey Wendy!"

I woke up with a startle.
Three storey house, verandah, trees, backyard.
These all adjectives describe our new house.
No this isn't possible.
This cannot be Wendy's house.

This was at a moderate distance from our previous house.
And why would Richard Cyrus buy another house so close to this one.

I heard a voice. It was faint but it was of a girl.
I couldn't recognize it though.
But it was from the closet in my room.
With a pounding heart I went near the closet.
The door was jammed so I had to put a lot of effort into opening it.

As soon as I opened it, I saw a corpse lying there, mutilated.

He killed me.
Didn't even bother to bury me. Just left my body in the closet, in which I was suffocated to death.

These words flashed back in my mind.
This was what Tara had written in the notebook while we were in the attic.

I heard the voice again.
It was a mix of laughing, crying, sobbing.

I let out a loud scream.
"Lisa what happened?, I saw mom running towards me.

"Mom there's something in this closet", I said while sobbing.
"But the closet is locked Lisa. And you don't even have the key for the same."

I looked at the closet again. It had a big, antique lock.
We have just moved in and I'm already scared to live here.
"Mom I'll just take a nap", I said.
"Yes. Take care honey", she said with a smile.

I lay on my bed thinking about all that happened and suddenly an idea struck me.
I can ask Tara about this house.
Obviously she was the one who had that vision.

I went downstairs where Granny Grandpa and Dad were sitting.
"Granny can you please come here once?", I asked.
I couldn't discuss all this in front of Dad.

"What is it honey?", Granny asked.
"Nothing. I just wanna show you how I decorated my room.", I said.

Granny let out a chuckle and came upstairs.
She came inside my room and sat on the bed.
"What do you want to talk about?", she asked.
"How did you know that I wanted to talk about something?", I was surprised.

"This room is a mess. I'm sure my Lisa is not that bad at decorating a room", Granny said laughing.

"Granny I need to know where Tara lives", I said.
"Why?", she asked.
"Just that I think she has a bracelet of mine and I want that back. I kept that in her purse when we were in the attic". I am a pathetic liar, no doubt.

"A bracelet. You really want to meet her to get that bracelet back?", Granny seemed annoyed.

"It was given to me by my best friend. Please Granny.", I pleaded.

"Okay I'll give you the address''.

It took me about an hour or so to reach Tara's house.
It was a pretty house, had a cute little garden.
I knocked at the door.
Strange but this house didn't have a doorbell.
An elderly woman opened the door.
I could make that out that she was Granny's friend and Tara's mother.

"Hello. I am Lisa Simons. You must be Mrs. Morales. Can I meet Tara?", I asked.

"Tara is dead."
