We all take turns in the bathroom, Scarlett taking the longest. She comes out and I have to smile. Her hair is damp and wavy, her makeup is light, and she's wearing a blue and white long sundress.
"You look beautiful." Cooper and I both say.
"You two are too much." She smiles and shakes her head. She walks over to us and kisses us each on the cheek then hooks arms with us. "Shall we?" She says smiling.

We end up going to a pretty busy restaurant that serves a brunch buffet. When we all go to sit in a booth, she smiles and sits in the middle of one side, making Cooper and I sit next to each other.
We eat and chat together and I can't help but think how well this is going so far.
Scarlett tries to hide a smile as the waitress brings our mimosas, and flirts with Cooper and I a little too much.
"So are you having a nice breakfast with your sister?" She batts her lashes.
"Actually, I'm her husband." Cooper says and looks at me.
"And I'm her boyfriend." I throw out. The waitresses face is priceless.
"You have eyes. How could I choose between them?" Scarlett shrugs and sips her drink.
"Let me know if you need anything else." She says and quickly walks away.
"Well that went well." Cooper laughs.
"Maybe we should stick to a friend story." Scarlett smiles. I look at Cooper just as he looks at me.
"Yeah no." I say and he nods.
"Husband. Boyfriend. I like it." He says.
"You two are impossible." She smiles as she leans forward exposing cleavage. "So what happens when I'm allowed to have sex again? Will you both play nice?" She bites her bottom lips and then stands. "I'm going to get some more food. Why don't you two work out details." She moves her hips so seductively, I swear I drool.
"We can share, right?" Cooper says.
"Yeah, it can't be that hard. Right?"
"Right." He agrees.
"I mean we have both had her already. It's not like somebody new is involved."
"Exactly. I mean, who cares if I took her virginity." He tries not to smile as I glare.
"Yeah or that I had her last." I say and his jaw twitches.
"We can behave calmly about it, right?" He taps his fingers on the table.
"Yeah. It can't be that hard." I say.
"Did somebody say hard?" Scarlett teases as she sits back down.
"Stop it." I say.
"Or what?" She says biting a strawberry covered in whipped cream. "Mmm. This is really good."  She licks the whipped cream off her lips slowly.
"Scarlett Olivia. If you don't stop it, Lucas here is going to try and start an extremely awkward threesome in the middle of the restaurant." Cooper says and grins.
"One time, guys. One time." I laugh and Scarlett laughs along with us.
"Look. I'm just trying to prove to you, that this," she motions to the three of us, "as nice as it seems, won't last."
"We haven't tried." Cooper says.
"If I went home with Luke, would you be able to sleep peacefully next to me tonight?" She asks quizzically. Cooper chews on her question briefly.
"Yes." He whispers. "I love you."
She looks at me. "And you?"
"Yes." I say. "Same reason."
"Liars." She glares and sits back in her seat.
"I think you underestimate our love for you." I say.
"I think you both overestimate it." She says sadly.
"No." Cooper says. "Not even close. Until we try..." he clears his throat, "we won't know."
"Well we have a bit." She says and places a hand on her stomach, she quickly looks up to us and removes it. "Are we ready?"
"Yeah." I say and move from the booth.
Cooper insists on paying, and we head out to the car.

I sit in the back seat and Scarlett and Cooper sit upfront. Scarlett turns the radio on and sings along to a Taylor Swift song. She turns back to me and grabs my hand.
"I like when you sing." I tell her.
"Are you being sarcastic?" She asks.
"No way. You're really good."
"I really liked that song you sang last night." Cooper tells her.
"I really didn't realize I was singing so loud. I was just trying to sing to myself so I could play the piano." She says as blush creeps on her cheeks.
"It was beautiful." I say and wink. "Like you."
"Well thank you." She smiles. "Do we need anything for the rehearsal tonight?" She asks.
"I'll text Brett but I'm pretty sure we just need to show up."
"Okay. What should we do until then?" She asks.
"I have to make some calls..." Cooper says and then looks at her frowning face. "But they can wait." He smiles and leans over to kiss her forehead.
"Is it really fucked up, that I'm not even jealous?" I ask.
"Yes." She says but sighs. "I don't want either of you to be jealous. This is just a lot." She smiles.
"We will make it work." Cooper says.
"I hope so." She says looking out the window.
