The room is dark and pale. Casset was watching the moon move to the center of the starry blue black sky.
It isn't what a normal teenage girl would want to spend her night but she has no choice, her mom doesn't let her go out. She takes her small hands and plants them over the cold frosted window wondering and daydreaming where the wind would take her as she laying down.
Casset looks over to where her clock ticking and tocking over and repeating itself. Soon she hears her bedroom door crack, it's her mom.
"Restless night again baby girl?" says her mother with an opaque smile across her face.
"Sure... yea restless, I thought told you not to call me that anymore." Casset replied smartly back.
As her mother laughs. "And Casset how many times do i say i do not care you still going be my baby girl."
They share a laugh together and it was a good laugh finally. Casset hadn't laughed like this since her mom was a cop in the special unit.
It truly was special despite all the secrets her mother had to keep from her life was pretty good for Casset. Her grades were amazing and most girl envied her. It was simple to say that Casset was the new it girl at Highford Drive High school. But even the highly liked girl has enemies and secrets hiding.
