With the bright red and blue strobe lights flashing from behind, flooding my ride, I pulled over along the curb. I took my hand and ran it down my face, wiping away the tears. My eyes roamed the car to make sure that my pistol was out of sight alongside any dope. Trying not to draw any attention from the opps behind me, I made little to no movement. I was in the clear as far as any shit that doesn't need to be in sight. As I sat there and awaited for what was to come, I reached into my pocket and pulled out my phone.

I searched through my contacts and called up my nigga. I put the phone to my ear as I waited for an answer but after so many rings, it went to a full voicemail and ended the call right after. I sighed as I saw the door open from my rearview. I didn't have time to call up anyone else so I shot my nigga a text message and just as I hit send, a bright light was burning the left side of my face. I placed my phone back into my pocket and gazed straight ahead not trying to look at the light. I rested my back against the seat before hitting the button and letting the window down, slightly.

"Good evening sir, how you doing this evening?", the officer spoke still shining the light in my face.

I sighed, I wasn't even in the right mind to deal with this bullshit. It was too much shit going on. "I'm good", I said calmly, never gazing his way.

He nodded."I'm officer Wesley", he stated before continuing. "Do you know why I pulled you over this evening?", he questioned.

"Naw", I stated nonchalantly.

He nodded before speaking once again."Do you know how fast you were going?", he questioned.

"Guess not", I said nonchalantly.

"I'm going to need your license, registration and proof of insurance", he stated in a tone of agitation.

He placed his right hand on his gun holster, continuing to shine that light on me. With no hesitation I reached into my pocket for my wallet. I opened and pulled out my license before reaching over and opening my glove compartment. I grabbed my registration as well as my proof of insurance. I handed it over to this nigga and got back comfortable in my seat.

He took a look at my license before gazing up at me. "August Alsina", he said before gazing back at me with slit eyes. "The little nigga that's been causing mayhem out here, the nigga that I know murdered my only son", he said as he clenched his jaw, which caused me to furrow my eyebrows with a look of confusion plastered upon my face as I gazed his way not caring about the bright light.

"Step out of the vehicle", he said in a tone of agitation as he threw my shit at me through the window, turned the light off and put it in his duty belt.

I gazed down at my shit that he threw at me and bit my lip. I was trying my best not to reach into my glove compartment and get that pistol. I kept my eyes on my shit, trying to gain self control because I was this close to risking it all and saying fuck it. As I did so, I saw him pull his gun out it's holster from my peripheral and point it at me.
