SCENE
(Flashback)
Five children are in a clearing in the middle of the woods, two of the children are on bikes far apart and facing each other each child holds a pole with a boxing glove on one end. The other children stand to the side with a look of fear and anticipation.
MARTHA
(Walks to the middle of the boys on bikes and speaks)
Alright, you both won the race therefore you will Joust for the title of King of the wood. Do you both understand the rules?
BOTH
(Nod)
MARTHA
(Joins the other children)
3...2...1... JOUST!
SCENE
(The boys peddle towards each other Toby manages to hit Jason in the gut with the pole and Jason falls to the floor in pain)
JASON
(Falls in pain)
Argh... Dammit
TOBY
(Gets off his bike and runs over to Jason and crouches down to him)
Sorry dude... are you okay
BEN
(Joins the boys)
That looked like it hurt
JASON
Probably because it did butt munch
TOBY
(Holds arm out to help Jason up, Jason take his hand and stands up)
SAMMY
Does this mean Toby wins?
MARTHA
Yes it does
(Hands Toby a pin badge that says king)
TOBY
(Takes it and puts it on)
Thank you... I hereby decree that I am hungry and want cookies let's go!
ALL
Laugh
JASON
(Pats Toby on the shoulder)

SCENE
The children are now not children but are 16 years of age and wandering around the woods looking for a goblin as per usual
BEN
(Walking through the woods whilst also on lookout)
Why whenever we have Gym does this stupid Goblin steal our phones... it's getting annoying
JASON
(Also walking and on lookout)
"Getting" I say this time we kill the little sh-
TOBY
(Puts his arm on Jason's shoulder)
No killing, it just wants to play that's all
SAM
(Trudging through the woods)
Can it find a new way to play
