For the last several weeks Bryshere has been away on set in Chicago. He’s an actor and he plays as Hakeem Lyon on the hit television series Empire. Right now he is working on the highly anticipated season 2 and he updates me along the way. He said it’s fun, exhausting and he misses me and Bryson to death. Bryson is our 5 year old son. He looks and acts just like his father. This year he started kindergarten and he said the girls all love him. This little boy thinks he’s a player. I don’t know what I’m going to do with him. “Can we go visit dad please?” My son asked shaking my shoulder as I lie down asleep. I flutter my eyelashes and shift my eyes open. “H-huh?” He repeats his question with hopeful eyes. “I don’t know… daddy’s at work.” He folds his arms and gets upset. “Daddy’s always at work, hmph!” I know this boy had better lower his tone. “Do you wanna skype daddy?” He appears happy again, shaking his head furiously. I whip out my cellphone, switch on the screen and prepare to facetime with Bryshere but he doesn’t answer. Bryson sighs. I know when he gets sad and I hate to let him down. “Do you wanna take a trip and go visit daddy in person?” He hops up and throw his arms in the air. “Yeahhh!”
