chapter 1

*Alex's pov*

Today is Friday it is the frist day back  to school.  As you already know my name is Alex Walcott, I'm 17 and I'm a senior. I have a group of friends that are the most amazing people on the earth. Most of them are guys because they bring less drama.

When I wake or shall I say beaten up my step mom kicked me in the stomach and started punching me in the face saying "wake up you no good fat ass whore. "By that time I was crying I knew that I was going to be late for work today. As she left the room I cry for about a few minutes and then decided that I was going to change. As soon as I got up there was pain on my ribs but I had to ignore it.

Once I put on my black leggings with a dirty old t-shirt that covers my butt,but goes to my thigh, it's longer in the back and shorter in the front. I put my honey blond hair in a messy bun and put on my converse and I try to put some makeup to cover all the bruises and burns on my neck and face, I don't have much but it helps cover my face. As I walk out my room I grab my stuff and sneak out the front door.

"Hey what are you doing up so early? " asked me neighbor

"Ah nothing really just headed to work, what about you Mrs Smith why are you up so early? " I asked

"I like to see the sun rise. "

"Alright well bye now Mrs Smith."

"Bye hun." Said Mrs Smith

I waved bye and headed to work it was 4:30 in the morning .my shift starts in 30 minutes but since I'm going to be working alone today I will open the store up early. It takes me about 10 minutes to walk to the store.

I walk in to the store and tun on the tv hanging in the corner of the store. I heard shouting going on outside and I let my curiosity get the best of me and went to go check it out. As I got to get a look on what was going on I heard a gun go off. I ran back into the store and hid. Few minutes later I heard a deep but sexy voice say."I know someone is in here so just show your self and I won't make you suffer I'll kill you quickly. " said the guy

I accidentally knocked down something that was near me. I could see his footsteps coming to where I was hiding, he bent down a saw me.

"What's your name? " he asked

"A Alex W Walcott "I stuttered

"Leave now Alex. " he said and I ran out the door and down the ally

"Where our going pretty thang." This guy in the ally was looking at me like I was his dinner

"Away from you " I said. That must've made him mad because next thing I knew I was being thrown up against a wall.

"Ahhh"  I screamed. My head started throbbing.

"Now listen here Bitch you do what I say got it? "

"No let me go! " I started wiggling around trying to get out of his grip. He punched me in my jaw and I started crying and spitting up blood I fell to the grown and he started kicking me.

"Get the fuck away from her! " demanded a guy that is running towards my direction with guys following him.

"Nope." The guy that was beaten me said.

Next thing I knew he stopped kicking me and was getting his ass beat by all of the guys that were running toward my direction I took this chance to run I still had to get to school it was now 5:30 I new I was going to be early for school so I went back to the store and locked it and walked to school.

"Hey girl " my best friend Kiley said. She was standing by Jessica Amy, Zack, Cody, William, Chris, and last but not least kaleb.

Kaleb has been my best guy friend for years and he knows about my parents abusing me.

"Hey guys what are you doing her so early? " I asked

"Didn't you remember? We are supposed to meet the new kids today and we wanted to be the first ones here to meet them. " said Jessica.

"Oh ok, well let me go wash up " I said.

*5 minutes later*

"Hey are you okay?" Kaleb asked me .

"Yeah I just got some more bruises nothing I'm not used to."

"You need to tell someone about that Alex, I mean like soon or i will ." Kaleb said

"Alright alright I'll tell someone just give me time. "

"Okay you got 2 months " he said and walked away.

"Ugh"  I said to myself nd looked at he time and saw it was 6:30 .

I walked to homeroom and the bell rang so I ran to homeroom ignoring the pain that is going threw my legs,

"Your late me Walcott. " said my teacher.

"In sorry "

"Take a seat,as y'all all know that there are going to brew knew students in this class so treatthem nicely. S-." But she got interrupt by the door that came open and walked the most sexiest 5 guys ever. "Are we late " the familiar voice asked. , they were all buff and had tattoos. They were the vipers.    ..Emmet heart, he was the guy at the store this morning and his crew. My mouth dropped. I ran out the room. Scared to death of him.
