The Experiments

Introduction

(NEEDS TO BE REWRITTEN.)
     It isn't unusual for the occasional child to go missing, right? But what if... What if all of those kids, those who were running away, lost, or even just walking on their own, what if they didn't just go missing? What would happen to them? I happen to know the answer to these questions. See, I'm one of those kids. My name is Koda. Wait, no, sorry... it's River. Ok, so maybe my real name is Koda, but I was renamed River when I got to The Facility. 

     Actually, maybe I should explain what happens to those kids now... You do want to know, right? Well, The Facility is a lab of some sort. They take kids from all over the country, then raise them until they're strong enough to withstand The Change. During The Change, you get a power, based off of your new name, the one you get after a few weeks here. The name is based off of your personality. Apparently, I represent a river somehow, or at least water.

    Well, that's all I know about what happens around here. Oh! Wait! You probably want to at least know a bit about my friends! We're pretty tight-knit. There's Alpha, who's basically our leader, Kat, the suspicious one, and Shadow, the quiet one. They see me as a little sister, and I see them as my older siblings. It's hard not to grow attached to your 'roommates'. You're either their friend, or you have no one. To voice a thought of your old life is, uh, discouraged, and to call someone by their old name, or refuse you're new one... There's a reason Rose isn't here anymore... That particular demonstration won't be forgotten anytime soon. Then again, it's only been eight months, or at least, that's what we're told.

So, are you curious as to what any of this has to do with anything? Well, so am I. You'll have to wait and find out what'll happen, when it happens.
