Mockingjay Ending Continued

Chapter 2

(A.N this is Peeta's POV but this is before he went to give Katniss the Cheese Buns)

 Peeta's POV

I was at the bakery making some Cheese Buns for Katniss because I know how much she loves them.

After all the Cheese Buns are baked I make my way to Katniss' house I hear Rue's four note tune and I look up and see a Mockingjay. I look down really fast because I don't want to have a brake down about the whole rebellion thing.

When I get up to Kaniss' door I knock and after a minute or so I hear her yell "Coming"

"I will be right there"

The door is opening and she just stands there staring at the Cheese Buns for a minute and then I brake the silence "Hey umm... hello Katniss I umm was just wondering if you would like some cheese buns?"

"Come in just go ahead a put the Cheese Buns on the table" she says moving aside

"owwww" she winces in pain

"Katniss what is wrong" I ask very worried

"It's fine I just fell on my back on the way down the steps to get the door." she say

"Are you sure you are okay" I ask very concerned I hope she is okay

I put the Cheese Buns on the table and when I turn back around I see Katniss crying. "Shhh Katniss calm down its okay what's wrong?"

"She's gone and it is all my fault Peeta she is gone forever." She managed to say through her crying

"It's okay she is in a better place now it is not all your fault I promise it is not your fault." I say in return I hope she is okay I must be really bad for her she really loved Prim

"Peeta can I umm move in with you this house just has to many memories of her here and it I just to hard to bare." Katniss asks after she calmed down a bit

At first I am stunned but I mean this house probably does have a lot of memories of Prim

"Of course you can move in with me let's finish some Cheese Buns then I will help you pack some of your things." I say to her

"Okay thanks Peeta."

For a minute we just sit there and out of no where Katniss leans in and kisses me and of course I kissed back. The whole kiss I knew I was blushing. When we brake away for the kiss so we can catch our breath I ask "Do you love me Real or Not Real?"

That is the game that I played when I was hijacked so I could know what was real and what wasn't.

"Real" she says in return
