Peeta comes back to District 12, and Katniss has been waiting for him since she realized that she has been deeply in love with him. She knew that if you loved something don't ever let it go, well she knew that she loved Peeta, it's just she never thought he would be taken away. This is a short story of what I think happened when Katniss and Peeta first reunite after mocking jay and how they slowly get back together. This doesn't go to far into their future, it just focuses on the reuniting. *All rights go to Suzanne Collins*

After the the war and surviving two games, Katniss finds herself unable to feel the right things, or make the right choices. What happens as Katniss becomes more and more back to her "normal" self? Will she be able to move on? Will she and Peeta be able to find each other once more? Peeta has survived a war, two games, and a hijacking. The trauma of this leads him to a place where he has lost himself. Not only is this a problem, but katniss has gotten worse and worse since returning to 12. Can Peeta help himself and save katniss? Can Peeta once again become the boy with the bread? (Takes place after MJ but before epilogue. This story will change POV's from Katniss to Peeta)

Years after the hunger games and the rebellion all living hunger games victors receive a letter telling them they have to go back and finish high school. Also Finnick is alive (it just fits better with the story and provides some comic relief.) This doesn't follow the epilogue just so y'all know.

Part one of Katniss and Peetas life after everything

[After Mockingjay] Katniss x Peeta After a few months with no sign of Peeta, Katniss begins to waste away. She doesn't eat properly, her nights are consumed with nightmares and she's slowly falling into a deep depression; much like her mother. Primroses start to appear around District 12, who is planting them?

This is the story of how peeta and katniss grow back together after the war. What obstacles will be in their way? Will Katniss finally agree to having kids? Read to find out. I'm sorry if it's bad I tried my best. I think it's really good but it is my first story and I tried to make it the best it can be. I might write part two if anyone wants.

After Mockingjay, pre epilogue. Katniss and Peeta's relationship is growing stronger each day. When a drunk Haymitch suggests marriage and even children, it gets them both thinking about taking the next step in their relationship. All credit to the amazing Suzanne Collins! They have a young daughter Prim and a baby son, Finnick. Gale is miserable. life in District 2 isn't that bad. but his mental health is. Everyday guilt eats away at him. guilt of the people he couldn't save. Of people he thinks he killed. Guilt of precious friendships he's broken. He's run away from his past, which is the only thing that keeps him going. But one day it comes and knocks on his door and he's forced to redeem it as much as he can. this is the story of his downward spiral, redemption and attempts to fix his mistakes. AUTHOR'S NOTE: pretty much all of this story is from Gale's perspective. and it doesn't have a Gale x Katniss relationship, just friendship. I think that the end of Gale's story was unfulfilling. Also, my version of Gale in this book is depressed and kinda has ptsd. and lastly it gets pretty dark so you've been warned.

Katniss and Peeta Mellark have officially survived the 74th, 75th, and the 76th Hunger Games. All those Victories came with a loss, and they are ready to recover in the almost reduced to ashes Victor's Village. Will they learn to heal? Or will the recovery tear them apart? EXCERPT "Are you? Are you? Coming to the tree? Where they strung up a man, they say who murdered three. Strange things did happen here, No stranger would it be. If we met at midnight in the Hanging Tree. The Mockingjays repeat the tune to that song to me, and to confuse them I decide to switch songs. Deep in the meadow, Under the willow, A bed of grass, A soft green pillow, Lay down your head, and close your eyes, When they open again the sun will rise. Here it is safe, Here it is warm, Here the Daisies guard you from every harm, Here is the place I love you. The Mockingjays adapted to my change of song well, and I hear a little girl giggle. I look over to where the giggle came from, and see Peeta with a little girl. I smile at the sight of them both, and decide not to sing The Hanging Tree. The Girl hands me a piece of paper on it, and it has lyrics written on it."

Katniss Mellark is still haunted with nightmares. Things were better for a few years. The districts were united and equal to the all but the Capitol. There were no more reapings and no more starving children. People smiled and traveled freely. Then there was an election. A new president rose to power, more power hungry than Snow. He was still hungry. Hungry for another Hunger Games.
