The first song The 1975 ever wrote, as 13/14-year-olds at secondary school, was called "Penelope". And it gives me MAJOR feels to think of how young they were when they wrote this. And I mean, how good is it?!?! For the age they were when they wrote this, it's AMAZING!! They were practically kids - they were 13 or 14 when they wrote this!! Just imagine a cute, 13-year-old George smashing the drums on this, and an adorable 14-year-old Adam nailing the guitar riffs and a cute 14-year-old Matty screaming the lyrics like nobody's business and a cute 14-year-old Ross rocking out on his bass.... Awww, my fangirling heart can't take it...
It feels so weird, being so in love with a song that was written when I was 2 or 3 years old or something, by 14-year-old boys who I'm now completely in love with....... idk, i'm rambling, i'm just feeling a lotta love right now ❤
