Last year, on February 26 2016, The 1975 released their second studio album, "I Like It When You Sleep, for You Are So Beautiful yet So Unaware Of It", again through Dirty Hit in the UK and Polydor in the US.

There are 17 tracks on the album:

In 2014, Matty started releasing tweets revealing lyrics from the album, and its title in 2015. The recording of the album took 10 months from January to October 2015. The band then officially announced and verified the album in September 2015.

Since then, the album has been regarded as one of the best albums of 2016 - topping both the UK charts and the US Billboard 200. Its box set received a nomination for at the Best Boxed or Special Limited Edition Package at the 2017 Grammy Awards (should've won really, but whatever).
