Chapter 25

Dylan walked home with me after school. He also walks to school because he lives pretty close.

"Wanna stay over for a bit?" I asked him

"Yeah" Dylan said

We talked a little and then we started our homework. Some time while we were doing our homework I remembered.

"Uh Ashton's coming over soon, I'm not sure you want to see him." I said

I was trying to make him leave without sounding rude and like I didn't want him here.

"Oh I guess i'll leave then" he put his books back in his school bag

"Bye Emma" he said heading towards the door

"Bye" I replied

A few minutes later Ashton arrived. I liked how my mother comes home late from work and I can see Ashton. I changedout of my uniform before Ashton came.

"Hey Ash" I said

"Hi"

I saw Dylan had left his jacket on the couch. I hoped Ashton wouldn't see it so he wouldn't get jealous but he did.

"Is that Kian's?" he asked already knowing the answer.

"No...Dylan must've left it here" I said as casual as I could

I saw jealousy and rage in his eyes but he put on a fake smile and acted as if everything was fine.

"Oh, so I have to go practice with the guys but you can come of you want?" he told me

"Sure, I'll go" I replied

They were really good. They barely messed up when they were practicing. Ashton kept looking up at me and smiling. They kept joking around with each other. I could tell they were all doing what they love. They finished after a few songs.

"How did we do?" Ashton asked me

"You guys were great" I smiled

I think he wanted to tell me something and was waiting for the guys to leave the room because he kept looking at them. When they left Ashton looked over at me.

"I have to tell you something Em, but don't get upset" he said

"What is it?" I asked

I'm a bit nervous to hear what he was going to say, I can't really handle bad news well.

"Well the band's been getting a bit big..."

"Hurry up Ash" I laughed

He tried to smile but it faltered.

"We are going on tour in the UK and we won't really be able to see each other" he said

"How long will you guys be gone?" I asked

"Don't worry about that it's just some time" he replied

I could tell it was a long time.

"But what I am worried about is not being able to see you, I know you have to go to school and your mum would never let you go on tour with us, how are we going to make this work? We can't just video chat and stuff like that" he says

"I don't know, but we'll make it work" I told him

He was leaning in to kiss me but the guys all barged in.

"Oh sorry were you guys...having a moment?" Michael laughed

Calum and Luke laughed along with him.

"Anyways we wanted to continue to practice!" Luke said after they exchanged some more jokes

Ashton got up to go practice again.

I was gonna miss him, I can't stay away from him for so long.
