The boy smiled. His perfect teeth gleamed in the sunlight.

"You're just a little boy." Ryan said mockingly.

"And you're just a fatass that doesn't know what people say behind you." The Boy replied.

"Who the fuck do you think you are?"

"The man that's going to kick your fat ass."

Ryan charged towards the boy arms reaching out to punch him. The boy stepped, slightly to the right, and blinded by his rage, Ryan missed him completely. The boy sneered. Ryan turned around, swore and ran towards the boy again.

The boy grinned and punched Ryan in the stomach. Ryan staggered back and swore again. Quick as a hawk the boy threw Ryan against the stone wall with one hand.

Ryan looked a little shaken up, but he was fine.

"Watch your back." Ryan hissed, "One day, I'm going to kill you."

"No, you watch your back. Your pathetically weak. One day, someone is going to kill you." The boy said with a straight face.

Ryan staggered back to the school. Amber was trailing behind him, calling his name.

"You ok?" The boy asked.

"I'm fine." I wasn't too sure of that. My shirt was soaking and I'd just seen a 200lbs quarterback get thrown against a wall. Was I ok? I'm not to sure myself.

"You guys?" The boy asked Will and Shayla.

"Um, we're fine." Will said quietly. Shayla was still standing there dumbfounded.

The boy turned towards me. The flames in his golden eyes had died away leaving a shining gold. He extended a hand towards me in a very gentlemen like fashion.

"I'm Mitchell Night." He said as I reached for his stretched hand. "Nice to meet you Adrianna."

"How do you know me?" I asked.

"Alex told me some stuff about you."

I was surprised.

"You know Alex?" I asked.

"Ya," He said, "I've known him for several years now."

"I've never heard him talking about you before."

"Alex doesn't talk about his friends much. You probably don't know any of them."

I couldn't think of something to say. I'd never heard Alex talking about his outside life before. I don't know what he does, or who his friends are.

"Ya, Alex doesn't talk about his outside life much." said Mitchell.

I looked at him. Had me read my mind or was it just was his was going to say.

"How're you feeling?" He asked eying my shirt.

"Wet."

He laughed lightly. "Do you have anything to change into?"

"No."

Shayla and Will had walked to us.

"Shay," I turned to Shayla, "Do you have anything I can change into?"

"Ooo, sorry Silvianna, I got nothing." Shayla frowned.

"I got an extra tee shirt in my locker." Said Mitchell, "Would you like to wear it?

"Sure would."

We walked back to the school. Shayla and I had our arms wrapped around each other.
