Chapter Six

I was sitting in his lap

Instead of getting mad, I just laughed.

It would be such a waste to get mad and flustered, over something so silly.

That is, until my door busted open.

Who told him where we re-hid our spare key?

Karkat came marching inside.

Until he saw us.

"WOW, SOMEONE HAD FUN LAST NIGHT."

"What."

Sollux and i said in unison.

I got off of sollux and ran into the kitchen.

Pretty sure my face was flushed by now.

Footsteps followed me into the kitchen.

After jumping a few times to get the cheerios, I turned to find a smirking Karkat behind me.

"Go away."

"NOPE."

"Leave, stop finding our spare key"

"NO, BY THE WAY THE DOOR WAS UNLOCKED."

"oh. Go out there with Sollux then, I don't wanna hear what you're gonna say"

"I DONT CARE WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR. ITS WHAT YOU NEED TO HEAR. YOU AND SOLLUX FUCKED LAST NIGHT DIDNT YOU?"

To be honest, I have no clue what happened last night. Attempting not to assume the worst, I spoke.

"No, we watched a movie. But it was raining while we were walking home his clothes got wet. Speaking of, they should be dry by now."

"WHAT HAPPENED WHILE YOU WATCHED THIS MOVIE?"

"Cheesy jokes, stale popcorn."

"YOU REALLY LOOK LIKE YOU HAD SEX. YOUR HAIR IS LIKE....."

"wait, WHAT. What's wrong with my hair????!"

"IT JUST LOOKS A LITTLE MESSY, CHILL"

"Whatever, I was ASLEEP."

I poured milk into a bowl of cheerios and began to walk back into the living room.

Sollux was dosing off.

I set it on the coffee table, and noticed his glasses on the coffee table too.

I wondered....

I slipped the glasses onto my face

"Whoooooa"

"YOU LOOK LIKE YOU CAME FROM THE 80'S. LIKE A HIPPIE OR SOMETHING."

And with Karkats unbearably shouty voice, Sollux awoke.

I felt like a superhero with his glasses on.

He looked at me for a moment.

"2eriiou2ly."

"Serious as fuck."

Karkat plopped on a chair beside the couch.

"Your cheerios are getting soggy"

"What? Oh. Thank2 honey bee"

He smiled childishly at me, and began eating his cheerios.

I pushed some slightly knotted hair out of my face.

"So.." I said breaking the silence, standing awkwardly in front of the TV.

Sollux looked up at me.
