Why's everybody looking at me like they never seen a horse before?!

Everybody and their brother was staring at the Survey Corps as they slowly made their way through the streets. That also included me. And dang, if looks could kill!

The people who weren't too occupied with mad-dogging openly gossiped. I'd rather not repeat the garbage that trash like them spewed out. RUDE! WE ARE LIKE RIGHT HERE! I snorted at their comments: which mostly involved the crummy state that the Survey Corps was in. Well, shoot! Let's see them go out on an expedition and then try to attempt looking go-happy dandy afterwards.

I admit I did a little happy dance (or should I say run?) after I saved Squad Levi and three other random soldiers, but they would have died back there if I didn't cheat the plot. So who wouldn't be happy that they are still alive? Though, I did dedicate some moments of silence to honor the ones that had passed.

The troupe was taking forever to get to the Survey Corps HQ, and I didn't know the way. So I resorted to trotting around as I searched for the main characters. I ran all the way to the back of the group and started working my search back up to the front.

After a few minutes and some curious gazes from anonymous soldiers, I finally found some familiar faces.

Sasha and Connie looked at me in confusion when I gave them a friendly whinny. "Is that a wild horse?" Connie whispered. "Sure looks like one," Sasha replied. "What is it doing here?" Again with the whispers. Why are they whispering? It's not like they were compelled to stay library-silent while the townspeople shout and talk smack about them. "I don't know. I've never seen that horse before, and I spend a lot of time serving stable duty." Sasha must have been caught trying to sneak food."Why are we even whispering?" Connie questioned. That's what I was thinking! Sasha shrugged. "I dunno." "Also, why is there a sword in it's mouth?" Oh yeah! I almost forgot that I still had Levi's sword. Maybe that's why I was being stared at earlier. "I dunno." Sasha answered again.

Well, THAT was a little awkward. I guess I should return this sword now. It wasn't that dull- it could still be used. After weaving my way through the moving crowd, I spotted Reiner and Bertholdt. Those traitorous, no good... GRRRRRR!!! I would have gone crazy on Reiner earlier just like Annie, but at the time, it would have looked suspicious because there were other people there. It's a shame he didn't fall on his face when I pushed him, but he did call me scrawny.

Matching my hoof-beats with that of his horse, I snuck up from behind and gave his back a head-butt.

THUMP!

He pushed forwards a little wit an "OOMPH!" before looking behind him with a scowl.. When he saw me, his gaze softened in recognition. "Oh hello again, (boy/girl). Where's Armin?" Gosh darn it, he didn't seemed too fazed at all from the head-butt, and he STILL didn't fall over. This guy may not be in his Armoured titan form now, but it sure feels like he is under that bulk and skin. And did he just regard me like a dog? "Uh Reiner? Who are you talking to?" wondered Bertolt. "Oh, it's this wild horse that found Armin alone during the expedition. It even let him ride on it's back, isn't that something?." Oh, so I'm an "It" now? I'll show him after I intimidate Mr. Colossal Titan in his human form. I went around to trot alongside him as Reiner spoke.

Bertolt finally glanced at me and flinched when he realized just how close our faces were. I was giving him the "boy I know your secret and you are gonna pay" stare. The shifter started to sweat and shake a little. That's right- you'd better fear me.

"R-reiner? (he/she)'s got a sword...." Reiner blinked for a few moments- staring at me to see that I did, in fact, have a sword. Sheesh is he THAT dense? "Oh... So do we. What about it?" "I don't think this (mare/stallion) likes me very much." "Meh, you're just paranoid." Then I did the same thing to Reiner. Again, I couldn't faze this guy. But when he patted my snout, I jerked my head and head butted him sideways.

Sadly, I couldn't shank him with the sword because a) there were too many witnesses b) I refuse to actually kill people and c) the blade part was on the opposite end of my head anyways. THUMP! This time, his foot slipped out from the stirrup, and he nearly toppled. But he saved himself by grabbing onto his horse's mane, making it rear up a little, but not enough to buck him off. Dang it. He chuckled. "Whoa, (girl/boy)!"

Huffing in annoyance, I decided to leave these two. I had better things to do, like returning Levi's sword. When I was nearly out of earshot of the duo, I could have sworn I heard Bertolt say, "I don't think (he/she) likes you either."

And here he is- the shorty. The cleaning fairy. Levi Heichou; Heichou for short. The man who beat the main protagonist of this anime in a popularity poll. Captain Levi Ackerman!

When I found him he was dismounting from his steed. Seconds later, a blonde man with a contagious smile ran up to him from behind. Wait a minute, I know this guy. He's Petra's father! This I gotta see.

"Excuse me, Captain Levi! I'm Petra's father, sir. Might I bend your ear before she sees us? I received her letter somewhat recently. Apparently you hand-picked her yourself? She was really excited, I can assure you. In fact, it sounds like she's utterly devoted to you in every way. So devoted that, well, to be honest, her mother and I are a bit concerned, you see. Heh, heh, hah, hah. Now, I know that fathers can have trouble letting go, but still. I can't help but think she's too young to be thinking about MARRIAGE. She has so much yet to experience before settling down..."

HOLY SMOKES DOES THIS GUY EVEN BREATHE?!

As he jabbered on, I trotted a little faster to get in front of the duo and look at Levi's expression. Instead of that melancholy, face full of despair, he was deadpanned as he usually would be around Hanji. When Mr. Ral finally finished, calling out a hearty good-bye, all Levi did was go, "Tch."

Welp. Time to return what I borrowed!

I turned around to face him, and he stopped walking. His eyes widened very slightly in recognition. I extended my neck to offer back the sword.

He still stared at me. OK then. I tried neighing and tilting my head back in a "Take it, take it" motion. Levi raised an eyebrow.

Finally, I nudged his hand with my nose- which he retaliated by flinching away. "What do you want, you dang horse?" I placed the sword at his feet. He looked disgusted, as if the saber had verbally insulted him.

There was some drool on the handle part. But hey! It was in my mouth. How else was I supposed to hold it? With my tail? That's like trying to pick up a baseball bat with a mop.

"Tch. I don't want it." He stepped over the sword and continued on his way.

Well then. I guess it's mine now! I picked it back up and galloped to the front.
