It had already been a stressful day; going on an expedition, watching more soldiers die, failing the mission, nearly escaping death on the way back home, and lastly- enduring that agonizingly, slow, walk through the inconsiderate crowds to get back to headquarters, where the endless amounts of paperwork had tripled in size. Not to mention the rumors going around about that one horse and the meeting about it after dinner.
What is it about this horse that makes it so significant? It is probably one of the horses that was left behind during a previous expedition, that managed to survive on it's own somehow, and so happened to follow the scouts home. Then again, the other soldiers were making such a big deal about it. The information that I had gathered so far made me reconsider my thoughts, that this was not just your average horse.
Rumor has it that this one horse had rescued some soldiers. Then again there's also word that it killed somebody. Some presume (myself included) that this is just an abandoned horse from a previous mission, while others claimed that this horse is wild. What I find most baffling is the word that this horse had somehow managed to take down a titan.
I was not there to witness any of these feats, or see the horse itself for that matter, but my mind was already swirling with ideas of how this could benefit humanity. But alas, these are rumors. I shouldn't be so easily influenced without proof.
