Days passed by and nothing has changed

Well what could it be?

For just a girl like me?

My wounds are deep

A memory of pain and loss

I decided to unwind

I can't stay forever like this

Day by day, I make myself miserable

With every thought of you that makes it even more complicated

I found myself on the corner of the coffee shop

The strong smell that glooms around

I got a book while sipping my cup

I can taste the feelings of what's written in it

Until I got tired, I closed my eyes

I fell in a deep sleep

Weirder than it sounds, I felt warm fingertips caressing my shoulders

And as I looked up

I saw your perfect face

Staring at me with confusion

I shook my thoughts

Maybe this was a dream, this can't be

But I was shocked with reality

You knelt down and pulled your face closer to me

Like a dream come alive
