She felt her heart strings pull when she saw his hands around another girl's shoulder.
He looked at her but she looked past him and walked away.
At the end of the day she found the rose pinned to her locker with the rolled up note.
"No one can replace you."
Tears welled as she looked around the busy place and smiled when she caught a glimpse of him rounding down the hallway.
