The lineup for this year’s Gaon Chart K-pop Awards has been revealed!
The Korea Music Content Industry Association (KMCIA) announced on February 1 that, “BTS, BLACKPINK, GOT7, NCT127, and Urban Zapkapa will be joining the lineup of this year’s Gaon Chart K-pop Awards, which will be held on February 22.”
This will be the sixth year for the music awards ceremony, which uses fair and objective data to give awards to not only singers, but other professionals in the music industry as well. It is a music festival that aims to give fans, artists, and industry professionals a place to enjoy themselves.
A representative of the Gaon Chart K-pop Awards event stated, “The initial lineup of SISTAR, EXO, MAMAMOO, GFRIEND, TWICE, Han Dong Gun, Bolbbalgan Sachoongi, Dean, BeWhy, and SHINee‘s Onew will be joined by BTS, BLACKPINK, GOT7, NCT127, and Urban Zakapa. We will do our best to create a stage that harmoniously brings artists of a variety of music genres together.”
The 6th Gaon Chart K-pop Awards will be aired live on Mnet on February 22
