Lucy's POV--
The entire school day I couldn't think about anything but the meeting I had with my mother. It excites me to think about our adventure that we will have.
"Lucy? Lucy!" I looked up at Damian. "Class is over."
"Oh."
"What were you thinking about?"
"My Mother."
"Oh?"
"Don't Tell anyone, I've talked to her."
"You What? How did you find her? Why the hell didn't you tell me?"
"I thought you would react like you are now."
"What did you do?"
"I went to one of her old friends and found out where she was. I found her among The Riddler's gang."
"The Riddler? The. Riddler?"
"Yea. I even talked to him."
"What? Do you know how dangerous that is?"
"Yeah, that's why I did it."
"Well, you're living up to her standard."
"What is that supposed to mean?"
"You're not afraid of anything. And that's a good thing."
"Oh."
"What did you talk about?"
"Us. She asked me to join her."
"You said no, right?"
"Yeah...Of course."
"Good."
"And if I said, 'Yes'?"
"I would advise you to change your mind. She is dangerous. She is Harley Quinn. She's a criminal."
"But she is my mother."
"Yeah, but shouldn't your mother want the best for you?"
"Maybe where she is at is the best for me."
"Then why, did she give you to her sister?"
"To give me my best chance."
"Then that means, where she is at isn't the best for you."
I didn't say anything. I couldn't I know he was right, but I still want to see for myself.
"Let's just get to class." I grabbed hold of the strap that was over my shoulder.
