Ariel Verde has been with Tom Riddle ever since her parents were murdered. She knew his mind before it became a secret, she knew his pain before he hid it. She knew his goals before they became reality.

Once Tom left Wool's Orphanage to go to a boarding school in Scotland, Ariel is left all alone to fend herself. She realizes just about how much she needs Tom.

It was one particular evening in February when she lost control, severely injuring her tormentor. She had to be sent to Hogwarts in the middle of the year, so she would know how to control her powers, despite her being a year younger than everyone.
