anyone could have told me that you were a lost cause. they could have told me that you were too caught up with someone else and that they were meant to be, and that i was just a side character, just a foil made to make you shine.

but i'd still chase after you, even if you were with her the whole time. sorry.

at first i hated her. god, i wanted her to be gone so badly. she was taking you away, changing you and replacing me. but then i thought; well you were happy and that was good enough. and it's not like she was really replacing me, because where i stood with you can't even compare with the way you keep her close.
