In A World Like This | Various X Reader

Chapter 1

Sasuke kicks Naruto in the stomach, and sends him flying away from you. "Quit acting like an idiot." Typical Sasuke.

Naruto fake cries and rolls around on the ground, while you chuckle at their... strange friendship. Sasuke just smirks. Naruto yells a couple 'Why did you do that?!' s and 'How could you, Sasuke?!'s.

You all walk towards your apartments. All three of you live side by side, because you all wanted to be right next to each other.

Suddenly, something pounces on you and you fall to the ground, alarmed. Sasuke whirls around and is ready to fight....Until he sees Akamaru licking your face and you laughing your head off and trying to push the heavy dog off your body.

"KIBAAAAAA," you yell while still trying to shield your face from the slobbery kisses of the beloved dog.

"Akamaru! Where did you go?!" You hear Kiba shouting and you can hear his footsteps.

You can see his feet turn the corner and then you hear howling laughter.

"DAMN IT KIBA GET YOUR CRAZY DOG OFF OF ME!" You shout at him while still laughing.

"Alright, alright. Get up Akamaru," Kiba calls. Akamaru stands up, but just as you're about to sit up, Akamaru lays on your belly. Completely restricting you from  standing up.

You pretend weep, as Kiba starts laughing again.

Sasuke's head comes into view above your own. "Sasuke help meeee," you say while reaching your hands up to him.

He smirks. "No way. This is hilarious."

You pout and yell at Kiba. Finally, he comes over and shoos off his dog.

You immediately shoot up and punch Kiba in the gut. He makes an 'oof' sound before falling to the ground in an overdramatic manor.

"That's what you get for not helping me!" You yell at Kiba as he pouts on the ground. "Now my hair's all dirty," you complain as you pull your hands through your (h/l), (h/c)locks of hair.

"Well, I'm so-rry Miss Perfect, but Akamaru loves you too much," Kiba smirks at you as Akamaru runs at you again.

"I'll punch you too," you point at Akamaru threateningly. Even though you would never dare hurt Akamaru. He's too sweet and cute for that. Even though he's a little...big.

Akamaru turns away from you and hides behind Kiba.

Naruto runs up behind you and laughs. You shoot him a glare.

Then he walks up to you and reaches his hand out. "You got a little somethin' in your hair, (y/n)," he reaches out to take whatever was in your hair out, before Sasuke slaps his hand.

Sasuke runs his fingers through your hair to get a...leaf out. All that for a leaf?

Naruto glares at Sasuke. "What was that for, Sasuke?!"

"You'd probably pull her hair, idiot," Sasuke lets the leaf fall to the ground.

"I would not!"

Naruto and Sasuke  started arguing about how whether or not Naruto would have pulled your hair or not.

Meanwhile, you turn to Kiba. "See what you caused?" You wave your hand to Naruto and Sasuke.

"Yeah, yeah. Sorry, sorry...." Kiba apologizes. You can tell he doesn't really mean it though.

You glare at him. Once he sees your face, you can see him visibly shiver. Laughing, you pat him on the back and he almost falls to the ground.

"(Y/n), do you think I would've pulled your hair?" Naruto nearly jumps on you.

"If you keep acting the way you are right now, then yeah, probably," you poke him in the side.

Sasuke smirks.

Naruto fake cries.

"Well, we should probably get going. We have a mission," you wave your hand at Kiba and start walking off.

"What type of mission?" Kiba asks, riding on his dog.

Naruto starts going on a rant on how you're all gonna die because of the 'World Transporting Scroll'. You know on the inside though, he would never let that happen. He acts childish at times...right now is one of those times.

"Ooooh, sounds dangerous," Kiba wiggles his fingers.

"Oh, shut up Kiba. We don't need your comments," you nudge Kiba, which makes him almost fall off of Akumaru.

"Well, if you don't come back, i'll always remember you in here," He points a finger to here his heart is and gives you a big smile.

Naruto mopes next to you. Muttering how 'he won't be remembered'. But you knew if he never came back from a mission, he would never be forgotten. He is the Hero of the Hidden Leaf, anyway.

"Oh whatever." You start walking up the stairs to your apartment. "See you later, Kiba!" You wave to Kiba and jog up the steps. Naruto and Sasuke follow you.

"Alright, we meet at the village gates in thirty minutes, okay?" You say.

"Okay!" Naruto responds.

Sasuke just responds with his famous 'Hn'.

You enter your apartment and start packing your stuff.
