A Bit of an Introvert

CHAPTER ONE

Charm's P.O.V

"Ahhh​!.." I grunt in annoyance. I got off the bed to prepare for my flight.

"Passport check, snacks check, clothes check" I note to myself as I rechecked my things and yawned.

I go downstairs and met my grandmother in the kitchen. "Mother, I finished packing my things."

"Oh, that's good my lucky charm" she says sweetly giving me a beautiful smile.

I was little when my grandmother requested to raise me. She wanted me to grow up in my parent's quiet hometown rather than the noisy life of a businessman's daughter so for many years she took good care of me and raised me.

But today I'm now preparing to live with my parents. Since I'm going to be in grade nine this year, my mom wanted me to live with them since I'm a teenager now. They wanted me to study there and start adjusting myself to my new surroundings. So here I am.

As I prepare all my things I went downstairs with my bag. I approach my grandmother and hug her before i go. "I'm going to miss you mother.." I said sadly, thinking that I'm not going to see my grandma in the long time."You too, my lucky charm."

I got out from the house to get a taxi. "Goodbye, mother!!"I said waving at her."Be safe~!"she said sweetly waving back. I stop when I notice a taxi getting near and get in.

I smile to myself as I remember my big brother."I think he's gonna be so surprised when he sees me" I chuckle as I imagine his flabbergasted face.

When I was in the airport, I went to board my flight. I sat on the chair near the window, then get my cellphone and my headphones to hear some music while admiring the view of the sky beside me.

"Napitanumeul~ namajimak chu meulda~" I sang a song of BTS as I wait for the plane to land.

As I reach my destination, I got out and into the airport. As I breathed in the city air, I felt my cellphone vibrating in my pocket. As I noticed, it was my mom calling me.

"Mom?" I respond, "Sweety, there's a black van arriving to escort you to the house so don't get lost okay?" She says mockingly as I roll my eyes at her .

"Okay, mom thank you. See you later then" I say and end the call. Just then I saw a black van stopping infront of me.

Well guess this is it

I say to myself and took a big breath before heading towards it with luggage in hand.

A man with a suit and formal uniform got out off the van to open the door for me. I look closely at the man, and instantly smile with recognition.

"Welcome back, Madame Charm" he spoke with a slight smile to me.

He looks familia- wait I remember now!

"Sebastian!?" I exclaim and hug him tight. "I haven't seen you in forever!" I say and let go.

He cleared his throat, "Well I do believe we somewhere else to be, so shall we go?"

I smile and nod before getting in. I sit in the front seat and attach my seatbelt, Sebastian raises his eyebrow at me.

"Charm, you shouldn't sit there" He remarks.

"Why not?" I ask still having no clue of the problem.

"Why because you are my Madame of course!" He says and impatiently taps his foot.

"Hey it's just the two of us so of course it's okay" I reassure him and tap the seat to my side. "Let's go!"

As we reach the house, I see some maids waiting in the gate. One of the maids goes running towards me.

My eyes widen in shock as she squeezed me tightly. She broke the hug and faced me. "Charm, I really really really missed you!!"she said happily and I'm here still confused of who the heck she is.

"Uhmm.. " I say awkwardly making her realize the situation.

"What? you don't remember me!?!?" She exclaims.

I tried to recall my memories of her but fail miserably.

Wait! I remember now!

"Jenny!!" I shout excitedly.

"Thank goodness, i thought you forgot me beacuse its really been a long time Charm" She says and smiles.

When I was young Jenny was a working student who worked as a maid in our house. She begun to become friendly with me. But in first I'm not good socializing people that was its hard for her to approach me. She became my best friend, playing together and even taking baths together. Remembering that makes me embarrassed.

I enter the mansion's big doors as bright lights greet me. I see my parents and my brother's happy faces.

Just as I imagined, I secretly chuckle at the thought.

"Baby!!'' August shouts hugging me tightly after only a few seconds of seeing me.

"Sweety, we really missed you" My mother says and smile as August lets go.

I smile as a reply to my mother. "So how was life with your grandmother?" My dad asks putting his arm around me.

"Good! I'm so glad whenever grandma's always there for me!!" I reply.

"Oh, that's good to hear"

"I'm going to sleep early tonight mom dad, I'm really tired now, sorry" I say and yawn.

"Well okay, sweety" My mom said.

"Uhmm..mom can I know where's my room?" I ask her while scratching my nape awkwardly.

"Jenny~"

"Yes Madame?" Jenny replies stopping from cleaning the dining table to approach us.

"Can you lead Charm in her room?" Mom asks.

Jenny nodded at her and walked towards me.

"Let's go" She says signalling me to go with her. She opens the door for me and gave me my things, I smile to her as a reply and close the door.

"I'm going to take a bath first" I say to myself and headed towards the bathroom.

As I finished my bath and got dressed, I heard a knock on the door. I open it only to see my brother with a pillow in hand.

"Can I crash here tonight?" He asks with a sly smirk.

"Huh?" I say confused and he pouts as a reply.

"I really missed you baby, so can I please sleep with you?" He says and steps inside the room.

"Okay fine" I chuckle as his face lights up while heading towards my bed.

I roll my eyes at him and join him in the bed. Just then I suddenly felt a hand on my stomach as I look at my right I saw my brother hugging me while sleeping. I smile as I look at my brother's happy face while sleeping.

He really didn't change at all huh? He still clingy as always..

Flashback

"Charm~ " I look at my big brother who's already back hugging me.

"Big bro, why are you always so clingy to me~" I complain while emphasizing the fact that I need to get some rest.

"Because your cutee~"

"So..whats the connection?"

"Because you're​ cute and smell like a flower that's why I keep hugging you. So, what's the problem with that?" He replies pouting while still hugging me.

End of the flashback

I glance at him again."I wonder what he's dreaming about" I say to myself chuckling quietly as I slowly closed my eyes to sleep.
