i! Welcome to "Bit of an Introvert"! This is the first book me and my best friend made so it's a little bit rough with some grammatical errors as we are only freshmen (and will be sophomores soon). It can help us in producing more better chapters for you to enjoy if you comment down mistakes for us to edit! Anyways, hope you enjoy!
P.S. Play the video above to listen to some music while reading! Thanks again for reading! ~ hardlyhar
Charm's P.O.V
They say first love always doesn't work out in the end.
It's pointless in short.
But with all the changes happening everywhere it can be possible for this belief to change as well.
I met my first love when I was very young. In a bright cloudy day at the back of my old school where all my worst memories began.
"Where's our money, nerd?" Daniella mocked, as the three boys searched my uniform, looking for my wallet.
I stood my ground not showing her any fear or an admit of defeat then she smirk.
"Acting all tough?" She says lifting my chin up revealing her clown-like face to my tired eyes.
I squirmed at the boys grip wanting to escape when a shaking voice rang out.
"H-Hey stop that!" I look at the boy who was standing and shaking at the same time, suprised. Daniella stopped and looked back to see who's the owner of the voice. She looks at the boys with her mouth creating a hideous grin.
"Well~ What do we have here~?" She lets go of me and makee her way to the boy who was frozen in the spot.
"Another pathetic wimp"
"L-Leave her alone!" He squeaked out making Daniella stop in her tracks and laugh.
"You're worried for this ugly nerd? You should worry about yourself first" She says and grabbed his hair.
"Leave him alone!" I shouted while she dragged him by the hair.
"Look at you two how sweet! I'm almost.." She throws him towards the three boys "..jealous."
"Teach them a lesson" She says and walks away leaving me and the boy in the three giants clutches. I felt sorry for the boy as I looked at him, he looked scared to death but he still protected me by preventing me to get beat from this three assholes.
Why? I didn't even know him, but why is he still protecting me like he knew me?
Like I was
They beat us up, with a sickening smile and an insult thrown our way with every punch we take. The boy holds on to my body tightly to shield me from every punch and kick we receive.
I stared at his face, his tears flowing down from his eyes from the extreme pain he's enduring.
Why? Why is he doing this? I'm just a stranger yet he still helps me? Why?
I felt helpless, unable to move my body. Unable to help him.
"Hey! You kids stop there!" The stranger that found us getting bullied yelled scaring the three bullies away.
"Are you alright?" When the guy approach us, his eyes widen at the sight of our blood.
"O-oh my god! W-wait here I'm gonna call for help!" He says and runs off yelling for people in the streets.
The boy releases a sharp breath and slowly lets go off me coughing.
"A-Are you ok?" I asked him finally.
He coughs and looks at me with a smile.
"I-I think so" He replies his pale cheeks forming a blush.
Why is he smiling?
I look at him confused and worried as I looked at him. His uniform was messy and has some blood on it, His face wasn't any better with his black eye and wounds he looked far from okay.
"No you're not!" I say and remove my jacket wrapping it around him.
He blushed furiously as I put it around him.
"Why did you do it?" I asked him and he looks up with a flushed face. "Why did you let yourself get hurt because of me?" I continued.
"You should've just ignored me and left but you let yourself get beaten up!"
I shouted startling the already shaking boy in front of me while my eyes brimmed with tears.
"Why did you risk getting outcasted by the whole school?!"
"Why-"
"Because you needed it"
I stopped startled as he looks up at me and smiles.
"There they are!" A voice shouted, I looked back to see an ambulance shining it red and blue light all over the area.
The nurses grabbed us away from each other. I squirmed wanting to go to him to say to him I'm thankful and I'm sorry.
But before I knew it, he vanished from my sight.
I hope I can meet you again....
I thought as the nurses layed me on the stretcher and I blacked out.
