I woke up with a ray of sunlight hitting my face. I sit up on my bed, scratching the top of my head. I look over to Star sleeping peacefully, I couldn't help but smile and think about how beautiful she looked. Lately I don't understand what's been going on with me, every time I'm with Star, it's not the same. I start to blush and sometimes it's hard for me to speak, I don't even know why I feel this way. It's almost like if I have feelings for her... But there's no way, Star and I have always been best friends, or am I denying the fact that I do have feelings? I looked down at the floor. I just don't know, I guess only time will tell. I sigh and head to the shower to get ready for the day. While I was in the shower, I couldn't stop thinking about Star. I kept thinking about her as a person, her smile, how caring she is, but most of all, her personality. I didn't know why I was thinking about her in that way, but something about it made me feel happy. I got out of the shower and put my clothes on. I headed out from the bathroom to see that Star was still sleeping. I sat right beside her as she was laying on her side. I started to stroke her hair while I was smiling genuinely. I kept stroking her hair for a few minutes, I realized that I had to wake her up, since it was almost going to be the afternoon.

"Star." I said smoothly while lightly shaking her.
Star flutters her eyes open and she looks up at me, I give her smile.
"Oh, hey Marco." She says while sitting up on her bed.
"How did you sleep?" I said.
"I slept good, what about you?" She said.
"I slept pretty good as well."
"That's good." She smiles.

I smile back and hug Star. Star was a little surprised by my hug but, she smiled and hugged me back. I could feel my cheeks warm up.

"What do you wanna do today?" I said.
"Remember when you said there was a pool here?" Star said.
"Yeah?" I said.
"Lets go there!" Star says excitedly.
"Okay but let's have breakfast with mom and dad." I said.

Star nods with a smile. Star takes a shower and gets ready to go with me to see my parents so we can all go and have breakfast together. I lock the hotel room and we head towards my parents room. I knock on the door and my parents greet Star and I. We all head down to the restaurant and get the same orders from last time, since we enjoyed the food so much. Everyone finished their food, and I was just about to tell my parents that Star and I were going to the pool.

"Hey mom, dad?"
"Si hijo?" Mr. Diaz said.
"Star and I were planning on going to the pool, if that's cool with you guys?"
My parents look at each other for a second and then look back at us. My mom was giving me a smirk, which creeped me out a little.
"Sure you guys can." My dad said, giving his signature smile. I was excited and I can see Star was as well.
"But you guys know how to perform CPR right?" My mom said, smirking as she finished talking.
I know exactly what she meant by that.
"MOM!" I shouted, causing everyone to turn their attention to me.
My parents and Star were looking at me, shocked at what I just did. After a while, everyone in the restaurant went back to doing what they did before.
"Sorry." I almost whispered it. My parents give me a reassuring smile.
Star gives a me a worried look. I smile at her to show her I'm fine.
"Mom, we'll be fine."
"Hijo, I'm just making sure that you guys will be okay." Mrs. Diaz said casually.
"Yeah, sure you are." I say sarcastically.
My mom giggles a little bit, Star and I said goodbye to my parents while leaving the restaurant.
"They're so cute together." Mrs. Diaz said.
"Yeah, they are." Mr. Diaz said.

Star and I head to the hotel room to change into our swimming clothes. I changed in the bathroom while Star said she would change where the beds were. I finished changing and I head out of the bathroom only wearing my blue swimming trunks, and to only to see Star in a white bikini with a red flower design. I couldn't stop staring at her, she looked beautiful. I know shouldn't think like that, but I would be lying if I said she wasn't.
