Dedicated to Girl Meets World Fans. The show may be ending, but the fire it's ignited in us never will.

It was cool out, but it was hard to care as they sat outside, watching the stars. The fire crackled in the near distance, and we could hear Maya, Lucas, and Zay talking quietly.
"Farkle?" Riley asked.
"Hm?" Farkle replied.
"Promise me we'll always be together, no matter what happens," Riley pleaded. Farkle turned his head, staring at her dark brown eyes. He smiled, slowly reaching out to grab her hand. He took a deep breath.
"I promise, I will never let anything come between us," Farkle replied, "You're my best friend, and I care about you," She smiled, then turned back to look at the stars.
"How is it that we never saw this before, while we were in school together?" She asked.
"Saw what?" Farkle asked. Her smile widened, and I could tell she was blushing in the dark. A slight breeze rustled the grass, causing some of her dark hair to fall over her face.
Riley turned away, hiding her face.
"What is it, Riley?" She kept her back turn. A wicked grin broke across Farkle's face. He slowly reached over her body, hands stretched and ready.
"Tell me what you mean, or I will tickle it out of you," he warned. Riley gasped, jerking away. But Farkle caught her quickly. Her laughter rang out loudly.
"Farkle, stop!" She screamed in between giggles.
"Not until you tell me!" He said, laughing evilly.
"Okay, okay! I'll tell you!" She yelled. Farkle slowly released her, and the giggling died down slowly. We laid back down in the grass, panting.
"Every time we said we love each other, I thought it was just as friends. But, I'm starting to realize," she said, "It's a lot deeper than that."
They stared at each other for what seemed like an eternity. The only sounds they could hear were the heartbeats in their ears. Slowly, they leaned towards each other, their emotions taking over.
They didn't hear the others approaching.
"Riles? What's going on here?" Lucas asked. Riley shot up, ruining the almost-kiss.
"Lucas, I.." She said, her eyes darting all over the place. Maya slowly walked over, staring confused between the two.
Zay said, "I thought you were two were just...talking. But apparently, you two are doing a lot more than that."
Farkle slowly sat up, smoothing down his shirt. Lucas glared at him, slowly moving towards him. "Let me repeat this," Lucas said. He grabbed Farkle by the collar, lifting him up, "What's going on here?"
Riley slowly choked out, "Don't hurt him! It was my fault. I...I tried to kiss him." She started sobbing. Maya slowly backed away, unsure how to react.
Lucas turned to Farkle.
"Is it true?" He asked. Farkle looked at Riley, who was staring at the ground. Lucas shook him, "Answer me!"
"N-no. Riles just trying to protect me. It was me," He answered.
"Uh, I'm gonna...go," Zay said, walking backward.
"Don't," Lucas said, his voice dropping.
"Okay. But when the cops question me for murder, I'm telling them it was you," Zay said.
"Lucas. Just let him go," Maya pleaded. Lucas tightened his hold on Farkle's collar.
"How could you do this?" He asked, his voice growing quieter with every passing second. Farkle took a deep breath.
"I've loved Riley since the first grade. But, she loves you. So, I pushed my feelings away. But...I couldn't help it. I needed to know if she felt the same," Farkle pleaded, he turned to Riley, silently begging her to deny it.
"Farkle, no. Lucas, please..don't hurt him!" She screamed, hysterical. Lucas stared at her, his eyes growing dark. He tossed Farkle to the ground. He stepped forward, his anger rising. Riley ran to him, lifting him back up.
"Are you okay?" She asked, tears streaming down her face. He nodded.
"Lucas, I'm sorry!" Farkle yelled.
"Don't say it to me," He said, "Say it to Smackle. Your girlfriend."
Lucas turned and stormed off, Zay running after him.
"Oh, Peaches. What did you do?" Maya asked. Riley stared at the ground, unable to answer.
"Riley..." Farkle spoke. She shook her head.
"No. Don't say anything," she said. He nodded, eyes downcast.
"What are we going to do? I..." Riley asked.
"I don't know, Riley," He spoke silently.
