Part 1.... Newfound Love

Ally and Crystal text each other after school...

Ally looks at her phone, determining wether or not to text Crystal.

"Better now than never." Ally thought and picked up her phone.

Ally: Crystal....
Crystal: What's up?
Ally: nothing... How are you and Tyler?

Crystal stares, puzzled at the text from Ally.

"Why would she ask me about Tyler? She never asks me about him... She hates him. Strange..." Crystal thought to herself as she replied to the text.

Crystal: Well, he is really nice to me, but he keeps ignoring me. Maybe he just needs some space.
Ally: Maybe.
Crystal: Anyways, how are you?
Ally: Good. Can I ask you something?
Crystal: Of course. You can tell me anything.

Ally suddenly felt nervousness stab through her like a knife. She stared at her phone, typed the message, closed her eyes, and forced her thumb to hit send.

Ally: What would you say, if I said I liked you. If I like you more than a friend.
Crystal: Do you?
Ally: Maybe....
Crystal: You do?
Ally: Yes... What do you have to say about it?

Crystal freaked out. She never thought of falling in love with her best friend.

"I don't want to hurt her feelings." Crystal thought to herself. "But I don't really like her like that. So I guess I can tell her I like her back, maybe not today though.. For now."

Crystal: Well, we are both homosexual (they are both bi sexual) teens so I'm not surprised. But right now I'm dating Tyler so, I guess I can't be with you right now.
Ally: ok, forget I said anything.

Ally cringed...

"Why did I just do that? Now she probably thinks I'm stupid." Ally thought.

Crystal: Goodnight Ally, see you at school.
Ally: Night bestie.

A week later, Ally and Crystal text again...

Crystal: Ally, are you awake?
Ally: yes, what's up?
Crystal: Haven't you heard?
Ally: Heard what?
Crystal: The rumors, going around the school.
Ally: about you and Tyler?
Crystal: yeah... Do you think they are true?

"UHG THAT JERK!!! TRYING TO STEAL MY BEST FRIEND!!! It would be nice if they broke up... I kinda hope they do." Ally thought, angrily.

Ally: I don't know Crystal.
Crystal: I hope he doesn't like someone else. I really like him.
Ally: If he treats you bad, just break up with him.
Crystal: No matter what he does to me, I don't know if I can break up with him.
Ally: it's up to you Crystal. Gtg see you at school tomorrow.
Crystal: Goodnight
Ally: Goodnight.

The following week....

Crystal: I HAVE HAD IT!!!!
Ally: What is happening?
Crystal: TYLER!!!
Ally: what did he do?
Crystal: He hasn't spoken to me all week, he doesn't sit with me and he was flirting with other girls nonstop!!!
Ally: Crystal...
Crystal: he is gonna dump me, I just know it!! NO ONE FUCKING LOVES ME!!!
Ally: Crystal no...
Crystal: I'm just waiting, waiting for him to break my heart because I'm not good enough... WHY DOESN'T ANYONE LOVE ME?!
Ally: CRYSTAL STOP!!! JUST STOP!!!
Crystal:.....
Ally: NO YOU ARE WRONG!!! I LOVE YOU! I HAVE FEELINGS FOR YOU! BUT YOU REJECTED ME AND USED TYLER AS AN EXCUSE!! SO STOP BEATING YOURSELF UP ABOUT IT! ANYONE WOULD BE LUCKY TO HAVE YOU!
Crystal: Ally, I'm so sorry.
Ally: it's ok I'm... I guess I'm over it now.
Crystal: No, you're not, I can tell.
Ally:.....
Crystal: Ally, I think I like you too.
Ally: are you sure?
Crystal: yes
Ally: are you going to break up with Tyler so I can be with you?
Crystal: I'll just wait for him to break up with me.
Ally: that's gonna hurt like hell.
Crystal: I don't care.
Ally: Crystal...
