2. Knowing (Angus MacGyver)

You sit in the leather chair waiting for the rest of the team to come to work. Only coming in early because you want to drown out your thoughts but they only come back. Last week another agents life was taken because of your actions. Not getting there in time to save the agent's life. Still remembering the exact moment to where you saw Agent Marie get shot by a Russian Mercenary. Thinking what you could've done to save her. The glass door then opens and it's Jack Dalton. "Hey kiddo, you're here early," Jack says walking over to you.
"Hey," you mumble.
"You seem a bit off. Everything okay?" He asks sitting on the arm rest of your chair.
"It's just, I feel like I could've done something to help," I say looking at Jack.
"Oh no don't tell me it last week mission. Look, things like this happen all the time. You tried your best," he says with encouraging words.

This uplifts your spirit but you still can't seem to shake that feeling of guilt. Soon MacGyver and Riley come into work.

"Woah you all are early. I wouldn't expect Jack here first anyways, Riley chuckles. "Knock it off okay. I had a nice morning," Jack defends himself.
"Like what? You listened to all of your favorite old songs?" Riley laughs. "Hey, no. There was a mix of some nice 90s music in it too. So it's not that old," Jack says.

Patricia Thornton storms into the room. "Sorry to interrupt but we have a new oppt. This one a bit more simple," Thornton says pulling up a few documents onto the screen. "You're scouting a possible drug trafficking site in Montana," she says showing pictures of the site.

"Alright seems simple enough. But why does Phoenix have to do this why not the CIA or FBI?" Riley asks.
"Because this past week all the agencies except for ours have been working on figuring out who sent out all these threats in the U.S," MacGyver says.

"Well I love me some stakeouts. So let's go!" Jack says.

-TIME SKIP ON THE PLANE TO MONTANA-

You sit in a leather seat looking out the airplane window. Haven't talked to your boyfriend MacGyver yet but he seems worried about you. Since you haven't talked much since last week. Still extremely devastated MacGyver sits across from you. Looking at you with concerned eyes.

"You okay Y/n?" He asks. You turn your head to look at him.
"Yeah," you mumble.

Trying to talk quiet because everyone else around you is sleeping.
"You sure? You've been kind of distant," MacGyver asks feeling worried about you.

"Just a little flustered that's all," you say. "No I know it's more than that, just tell me. I'm here for you," Mac says staring into your e/c (eye color) eyes.

"Just last week. Thinking what I could've done to prevent that," you say looking down at your feet.
There's a pause before MacGyver says anything.
"You know something like this happened to me a while back. I actually reacted the same way you did. But time went on and I got over it. I finally accepted that I gave it my all," He says. You still feel a little guilty but now knowing that this isn't the first time this had happened in the group it's brings a different mood to you. A better one than what you had before.

"Thanks Mac, don't know what I would do without you," you say getting up and walking over to the bathroom.

-TIME SKIP TO THE STAKEOUT-

"Look if I'm going to be sitting in a van for who know how long. I at least want to be listening to some decent music. Not the 80s biggest hits CD," Riley groans. You sit next to MacGyver in the back while Riley and Jack sit in the front. The more forest side of Montana is around you. Having thy fresh air type of smell and the sound of birds chirping everywhere around you.

Jack and Riley continue to argue over what to listen to and what to do while you look out your window. Feeling the gentle wind brush against your skin. Everything seeming so perfect. Wishing that it could always be like this you snap out of it and back to reality. The reality of Jack and Riley arguing over the most dumbest things.
Having enough of this arguing you decide to just take a quick walk.
"I'll be right back guys. I'm going to take a walk," you say opening the door. "Alright, don't go too far!" Jack calls from the car. You start to walk into the forest clearing your thoughts and just relaxing for once.

Meanwhile back in the van. "You know she's totally checking you out," Jack says to MacGyver. "What?" He asks confused on what Jack said.
"Y/n, she was totally eyeing you down earlier today," Jack says. "Yeah, I even saw it. You guys would look like a perfect couple," Riley trails off.

"I mean I totally saw you doing the same to her but guys are different," Jack says. MacGyver chuckles at the two finally agreeing on something.
"What are you laughing for?" Jack asks and Riley raising an eyebrow.
"It's funny because we are dating," Mac says with a smile and a slight laugh.

"Wait, you're joking right?" Riley asks surprised at his words.
Mac shakes his head. Riley gasps at now knowing that Y/n and Mac are dating.
"Dude, I was totally expecting that to happen. I'm actually pretty happy for you," Jack says putting his hand on Mac's shoulder.
They all are finally ready to move onto another phase of life. It's a bumpy road but things will smoothen out with the help of friends and family.

Alright I know that was pretty crappy but I rushed it since I wanted to get another part out! Imagines are kinda hard to do since I'm used to writing actual stories so I can't really go in depth with a backstory or whatever. Next imagine will be coming out shortly! Thanks!!
