With Jabba on the hunt for her and the item she had unknowingly taken from him, she needed a quick escape. So she finds a random boy, an old man, and two droids and begs them to take her with them off to wherever there destination was. Unbeknownst to herself, intertwines her fate with a smuggler and his Wookiee friend. // In which a thief girl makes a run for it with a boy, an old man, and their two droids with the help of a Wookiee and a smuggler who she might just have the hots for. With confronting the empire in order to save a princess, facing Jabba and returning the item she stole from him didn't seem like such a bad idea.
... Whatever she stole from Jabba could be whatever you want it too be. Crystals that are used to make light sabers, an old Jedi scroll or item, or even a person she freed and she has information on where they are hiding and that's why she's running. Ooh, it could be her younger sister who was sold to him as a slave from their father who owed Jabba money and repaid him with his daughter instead (evil, I know).
