Friday!

There were 2 amazing things happening today

1. Weekend
2.Shawn is coming back from Chicago

I can't wait to go and pick him up from the airport.Brandon let me borrow his car because I finally passed my driving test on Wednesday!

You can imagine how happy I was.My parents are getting me my own car really soon.Which means,that my mom won't have to drive me places anymore

I go to my locker and throw my books inside before smashing it and going to the bathroom .I fix my makeup and apply a red lipstick,I brush my hair once and spray perfume all over me before going to my locker again to pick up my bag

"Hey Lana"-I see Ian coming my way-"Wow you look beautiful "

I smile-"Thanks Ian"

"Listen,I have to tell you something"

"Yeah sure,what's going on?"

He takes a deep breath-"I like you! I really like you and I was wondering if you would like to go out sometimes?"

I felt so bad "Ian we cant"

"Why not?"

Because you're not Shawn

"Because we're friends "-I tell him-"And if it doesn't work out then it'll be all awkward for us"

"No it won't "-he objects-"I promise it won't"

"Ian we can't"

"Why not? "-he asked-"You don't feel the same do you?"

"I'm sorry"

"But maybe if we start hanging out then you'll like me and-"

I interrupt him-"I like Shawn"

After those words left my mouth my stupid brain processed what I had just said.I hadn't just told Ian that..I had also accepted it to my self,I was on stage 3 now.I cover my mouth with my hands.-"Ian I'm so sorry.Gosh I'm so stupid "

"It's okay Lana.I'll move on"

"Friends?"-I asked

"Friends"-he smiles before starting to walk away-"Oh and Lana "-I turn my attention to him-"You should tell Shawn.He might feel the same,but he's probably afraid to confess his feelings to you "

"I'll tell him when I'm ready"

"Thank you "-I smile at him before leaving the school and entering my car..Okay-Brandons car

I start driving to the airport,jamming to different songs.I was so excited my whole body was shaking.I couldn't feel my knees anymore and my heart was pounding so hard.I knew I had already begun falling for Shawn and that's what terrified me the most.The thought of me getting hurt was always on the back of my mind but somehow I was still willing to risk it all

I enter the airport parking area.Shawns flight has just landed so I should be inside the airport until Shawn finishes his luggage check out and the passport control
