1 word,4 letters-it can ruin your life.

I've been in the hellhole that I'd like to call school for 5 hours now.This (thank god) is my last hour for today.I swear I can't understand a damn thing..I was good at Math once upon a time..but then the alphabet decided to get involved and now I can't understand a damn thing

I look at the clock impatiently,10 more minutes.I look over at Skylar..she's sleeping.I'm going to Starbucks with her after school..she said she had to discuss stuff with me..

I have no idea what she wants to talk about..But I hope she hurries cause I have to meet Shawn at the cafe after

The bell rang and I grabbed my backpack and went to Skylars desk-"Sky"

I shook her,she opens her eyes and mumbles-"Please tell me it's over for today"

I chuckled-"It's over for today"

"Thank god"-she exhaled as she got up,grabbing her backpack and my hand.We went to our lockers because I had to drop off some books

"Lana,hey"-I heard Ian.I turn only to look at him,smiling at me

"Hey Ian"

"I didn't see you at the party..you know after we talked.Did you go earlier?"-he asked

"Yeah,I went home earlier"

"Oh,okay"

"It was a great party"-I tell him as I close my locker-"I had fun"

"Thanks Lana"

"You're welcome Ian"-I smile

"I'll see you around "

"Bye"-I tell him as I made my way back to Skylar,

"He's so obvious it's gross"-Skylar comments

"Who?"-I ask

"Ian"-she tells me closing her locker-"He obviously likes you..Are you blind or what?"

"No he doesn't!"-I object..He doesn't! Rights?

"Sureee"-she drags-"You'll see it sooner or later"

We walk to Starbucks,which is not far from school.I was lecturing Skylar about her bad reputation,but she would only answer me with one simple sentence,which would conclude it all

"I don't give a shit"

"I get that Sky"-I roll my eyes -"I just think you deserved to be loved for who you are.But you're not allowing anyone to love you that way.."

"Why would I want to love like that? It's boring.Stay with someone your entire life..For me it gets boring after the second time of hooking up..Nevermind relationships"

"Okay"-I raise my hands in surrender as we enter Starbucks.I ordered a Green tea latte and Skylar ordered a classic hot chocolate .We sat down and I started awkwardly sipping my tea after Skylar didn't talk for what seemed like hours

"So?"-I ask her-"You wanted to tell me something?"

"Oh yeah.I wanted to apologize for ermm..ditching you on Ians party when I promised I wouldn't do it.I just got really caught up for a moment and it was getting hot and heavy with the guy..what was his name"-I look at her in a weird way as she moves her hand around trying to remember the guys name-"Parker,yeah Parker.So we went to his house and hooked up and when I woke up in the morning I remembered that not that I just ditched you..but I was also your ride home"
