CHAPTER 36

                I turned around to see Liam standing in the door way. I didn’t say anything just looked at him, he walked over to me and hugged me.

                What was that for? I asked still hugging him

                I wanted to do that when I heard about what happened but you had the door locked. He said not letting go

                I didn’t want to talk to anyone. I said into his chest

                I know. He said letting go

                I was going to go for a walk, want to go with me? I asked him

                You’re not going alone. He said with a smile

                Thanks Liam. I said walking out of the kitchen

                For what? He asked

                For being there for me. I said grabbing his arm

                Liam and I walked around my neighborhood, he asked about my high school and everything he could think about.  We stopped and sat down on a bench near the park. The sun started to rise and I started to get tired again. I leaned my head on Liam’s shoulder and fell asleep.  I woke up to Liam yelling at someone.

                Liam what’s going on? I asked sitting up

                Parita run! Liam yelled but I didn’t understand what was going

                Liam what are you talking about? I asked but then I felt someone grab me

                LIAM! I yelled but it was too late

                Shut up or I will kill you! I heard a guy yell

                PARITA I WILL FIND YOU! I heard Liam yell

                He will never find you so don’t listen to him. The guy said

                He put me into a car then started to drive I couldn’t see his face until we stopped at a house near the park. He got out and came to my side to let me out.

                Get out of the car. He said to me

                Don’t touch me! I yelled

                Shut up and do as I say! He yelled in my face

                I got out and he grabbed my arm and pulled me out and walked me into the house. He threw me onto the couch and walked away.  This guy looked familiar but I can’t picture who he is? I sat there not knowing what to do but I heard my phone. I looked down and saw Liam’s number, I hurried and texted him where I was but then I heard the guy walk back out.

                WERE YOU JUST ON YOUR PHONE? He asked getting mad

                N-no. I said getting scared

                TELL ME THE TRUTH! He yelled

                I said no and he hit me which made me fall to the ground. He started to yell at me and hit me, I was going in and out but I could feel every hit. I knew I was bleeding and hurting really bad but he wasn’t stopping and I had no strength to fight back.

                I WILL TEACH YOU TO TELL THE TRUTH! He yelled before hitting me again

                Please was all I could get out. When he finally stopped I was barely awake, I couldn’t feel parts of my body. I heard a girl’s voice but I knew who the voice was but still couldn’t name who she was. She walked over to me and kicked me then walked away. They just left me in pain like I was trash, I couldn’t move because how much I was in pain but I knew I needed to. I reached for my phone and tried to call Liam but before I could the girl came back and grabbed my phone and then the guy came in and started beating me again. The girl laughed while I was getting hit, after he stopped again she walked over and grabbed my hair.

                You’re probably wondering why we are doing this. She said

                S-stop. I said softly

                We can’t do that see we are helping Anna which she will be here soon. She said into my ear

                Who are you? I barely got out

                You don’t remember me? She asked with a laugh

                How could I when I’ve been getting beat up? I whispered

                I am Lauren and that’s my boyfriend Nick. She said laughing at me

                I don’t know you. I said softly

                Oh but you do because of you I wasn’t allowed to play any sports! She yelled in my face

                You’re doing this because you couldn’t play basketball? I asked

                You ruined all the chances I had on going to college! She yelled punching my in the face

                I didn’t do anything the coach cut you not me. I said trying to stay calm

                You could have done something about it! She punched me again

                Like what? I asked getting mad

                Made him put me on the team! She yelled punching me again

                LAUREN ENOUGH! I heard Nick yell

                She left go over me and walked away. Shortly after I heard them Lauren leave Nick carried me to the car. He sat me in the back then got in and drove away.
