"They are none of your business. Now who told you where I was?" Aine flailed her arm across the book pages, blocking Ammons view of the contents.

"The guards told me where you went. I just needed to talk to you more about the ball."

Her voice seeped into Aine's sink like every plea she makes does creates more loathing for the undisciplined child she has. Every second ticked down slower by the move, each tick giving her Aine another second to contemplate her lie. Standing up, she stalked over to her daughter where she firmly planted her outstretched hands on her shoulder.

"There is nothing for you to worry about. Your job is to look presentable." Ammon walked out the room, head bobbing up and down in agreeance. Good, just as stupid as I need her to be.

Eloy:

Eloy rolled over in bed sweating from his last escapade with Edminari. Trying to catch his breath a heavy arm wrapped around his chest.

"Do you think your mother will really try to take away your title?"

With a tired voice Eloy responded," I don't know what she was thinking when she proposed it. It's as if she wants everyone to know that she hates me. Everything aside, there is no way that she can get rid of me." Edminari snuggled closer to Eloy.

"I've never seen a mother do such things to her child the way your mother acts with you." Eloy laid on his side replaying every old memory with his mother. His breathing sped up to the point where he was almost hyperventilating. Everyone can see it now. She's never loved me. His crying was uncontrolable, Edminari's soothing wouldn't help. His glassy eyes stared straight at the door. Wishing that he had someone who had been there for him. Someone to take care of him. Someone that loved him as a child. That loved him for him, including his flaws. That didn't try to cover them up from the public in order to secure an image. A false image created to insure power and to trick the people.

"My mother has tried hard to put on this masquerade that we are the perfect family. But now everyone is starting to see. We are not the perfect family she wishes people to see."

"You should stand up to her." Those words resonated with him. He wanted to stand up for just as much as he wanted that someone. The more he thought the more Eloy realized the Edminari was that someone. More thought in him provoked more observations that not everyone had a someone. But they needed one. Mayber Eloy could be that someone. For another person.

Eloy was going to do what Edminari suggested. He strided over to his mother gathering. I'm tired of this facade. He broke his pace when he stopped at the blue doors. Pushing the doors opened wide the room was struck with silence as all the guest saw who had arrived. Eloy grabbed a drink walking up to the stage located in the middle of the floor.

"Ladies and gentlemen. I have come here today to expose something that my mother and father have tried to hide for quite some time. Something about me. As you all know a few months ago on a trip. But what you don't know is that a brought someone back. A concubine. A-A male concubine." The gaps were loud. Everyone's eyes turned from him to his mother, who sat scowling at him.

"That's right. I like males and also females. I wanted to get this off of my chest because if I am going to eventually rule this country then I at the least owe my people this. I know this could make people reconsider their choice when voting if I am to take the throne or if my sister should. But now that I am the one here confessing to you that I'm not perfect and shouldn't be looked upon as a god. But as a person, a person who the people trust not fear." Within the crowd everyone was in pure shock. CLAP..........CLAP....CLAP...CLAP CLAP. They were applauding him. They didn't reject me. They-they didn't reject me.
