Evil laughter filled my ears and I clenched my jaw.

"Listen here you sucker, we're going to take you down even if it's the last thing we do." I growled.

"I'd like to see you try." Shadow whispered demonically.

I quickly ended the call and looked up at a shocked Zen.

"We have to get out of here." I said.

Turning around, I saw big dark clouds coming our way. A hiss echoing through the sky.

"Come on, snap out of it! Get us out of here." Zen said.

"I don't know how!" I panicked.

Looking back at the sky, I saw Shadow, floating in the air while looking down at us with a sick grin. The streets then filled with creatures that wobbled towards us slowly. It looked like an apocalypse.

"Uh oh." I gulped.

"Home, sweet home...." Zen said, carefully drawing the small sword behind his waist.

As he was about to attack though, our surroundings started to fade and we were consumed by a black hole.

"Jade! Zen! Wake up!" A familiar voice echooed.

"Come on, wake up!"

A horrible feeling took over me after that. It was the feeling of drowning as water trickled down my throat, filling my lungs.
I awoke, coughing up water as I sat up straight on the floor of the conference hall.

"Oh thank the Lord!" I heard my mother whisper.

"What was that about?" Peter wondered.

"Just as I imagined, the city's been overrun." Zen informed them.

"What? How?" Peter questioned.

"Use your damn head, it's not that difficult for him. He has all the resources he needs waiting for him right there. And the worst part is, if those living there did not evacuate in time, they are most likely dead." Zen snapped.

"But Aurora said that everyone is afraid to sleep or go out at night. She didn't mention anything about daylight. Maybe Shadow hasn't taken over Storybrooke entirely. What we saw could be his dream since he controlled it." I pointed out.

"You've seen the dark part of Neverland Jade. Daylight is not a problem for Shadow. He has his ways to make it go and keep up with his plans." Zen replied.

"But I do have a plan."

"Well tell us then." Peter said, helping him up.

"We're in this together now. We have to trust each other."

Zen glanced at Peter with a slight sense of irritation, before he walked up to the table and grabbed the map.

"Have you found a way to the real world?"

"Yes." Peter answered.

"How?" Zen asked.

"Half of the army will go through the underwater portal, the other half gets split up into two groups. One goes flying with fairy dust and the other with the Jolly Roger." Peter explained.

"Alright, then, listen up. All of you."

"The first group that's heading through the portal will be the one to arrive first, which means by the moment you get there you stick close and start looking for survivors. Your first job will be to secure the clock in the center of the town and bring all the survivors with you there. This will be where all the groups will gather." Zen pointed at the map.

"Next to arrive will be those aboard the Jolly Roger. What you have to do is split into small groups and find where Shadow and his generals are gathered. The number of the groups must remain small so that you are not spotted by enemy patrols. By the time you have the information we need the third group will have arrived and will have already made it back to the evacuation zone by the clock. Once all teams are there, we begin our move towards Shadow." He further explained.

"Move quickly and without hesitation. Our time before Shadow's pets find us will be limited and without our full forces in place the whole operation will fail. Understood?" We all nodded.

"Any questions?" Zen asked.

We all shook our heads 'no'.

"Then what the hell are you still doing here? Move it ladies! Go! We depart at dusk." Zen ordered.

I watched as everyone left, Peter looking confused.

"Since when did he take over the mission?" He asked my mother who laughed.

"I didn't know you had this leadership in you." I smiled, walking towards Zen and taking a closer look at the map.

"I didn't either." Zen replied, placing the map on the table.

"Well done, Zen. It's good to see you like this." I patted him on his shoulder.

"So who found me?" Zen asked.

"My mother. She said she went to check up on you and found you laying unconsious in the snow. You would've frozen to death." I answered.

"Anyway, I gotta go. Got stuff to do." I said.

"Yea, you should go. " Zen emphasized.

After that, I turned my back to him and walked out of the conference room.
