"Alek?!"
The two boys who were fighting looked up and I met the mesmerizing blue eyes of the boy that I had a crush on for quite a while now. The same boy who decided to play the stupid game a few nights ago that was the reason I was here.
I ran towards him and pulled him into a tight hug. He didn't hesitate and wrapped his arms around my waist, holding me close to him.
"J-" He couldn't finish his sentence because of Roy speaking up.
"Wait you two know each other?" He asked in disgust and shock.
I pulled away and looked at Alek.
"What are you doing here?" I asked but a strong arm grabbed me and pulled me away from him.
"Who are you and what are you doing here boy?" Peter questioned, a cold look in his deep green eyes.
"My name's Alek. And I came here to save J-" This time I didn't let him finish his sentence.
"What was that?!" I yelled, pointing at something.
Everybody looked to where I was pointing except for Alek, he just stared at me with a frown on his face.
"Don't tell them my name!" I mouthed to him and he nodded his head slightly.
If I had let him finish his sentence, the Lost Boys and Peter would find out my real name and I wasn't planning on revealing myself yet.
"What are you talking about?" A boy with an Irish accent spoke up.
"Oh, maybe it was just an owl..." I laughed nervously.
Peter furrowed an eyebrow and tightened his grip around my arm which he was still holding. I let out a growl and yanked it out of his grasp.
"Don't you dare touch me again!" I growled.
Peter narrowed his eyes but averted his gaze back to Alek who was looking from me, to Peter and then back to me again.
"Bring him to the box. We'll talk later." Peter ordered and almost immediately, two Lost Boys walked over to Alek, grabbed his arms and pulled him with them to a nearby tree.
"What box? What are you going to do to him?!" I asked Peter, coming out more desperate than planned.
"How did that friend of yours find you?" Peter asked through gritted teeth, ignoring my question and staring at the campfire that was a few feet away from us.
"I don't know." I whispered.
"What do you mean 'you don't know'?!" Peter yelled in frustration, finally making eye contact with me.
I flinched since I wasn't expecting an outburst. That only triggered my anger.
"I mean, I. Don't. Know! There is no need to shout at me okay?! Jeez! I haven't done anything wrong and this is how you treat me." I yelled back at him.
Peter and I stared intently into each others eyes before I turned around and stomped towards my cabin, walking in and slamming my door shut really loudly.
*~*~*~*
It was night time and I had just come out of my cabin to eat something. The Lost Boys were dancing and singing round the campfire and Peter was playing his block flute. I sat down next to a tree, eating in silence.
"Jade? Is that you?" Alek's voice spoke up.
I looked around me, confused.
"Up here." I tilted my head up to look at a big box made out of bamboo.
