"That's him. He's close, Jade I have to go." Aurora started panicking.
"I'll tell everyone we talked. Rumple sent me. He said I would see you and had to warn you, this was the only way." Aurora said.
"Tell everyone to be prepared. My mother and I will return but we won't be alone. It's time to take this asshole down." I informed her.
Another loud boom was heard and we both looked up to see a grinning Shadow, staring down at us.
"I must go. Now!" Aurora panicked.
"I'll see you soon." She said, looking deeply into my eyes.
I nodded my head and hugged her again as she faded.
"Jade!" A faint demonic voice whispered in the sky.
"Go to hell." I growled.
"Oh ts ts ts, that's no way to talk." The voice replied.
Suddenly, a blood curling scream filled my ears as a creature jumped in front of me, making me scream in fright.
I shot up in my bed, screaming. Looking around me, I noticed that I was back in my cabin, on Neverland. My breathing was heavy, making me pant and tears stained my face. I had to get out of here and tell Peter.
Jumping out of bed, I ran to my cabin door, opening it and sprinting across the field. I was too busy recalling everything that I didn't see someone standing in my way so I bumped into him. We both fell to the ground, me hitting my head in the process.
"Jade?" A familiar voice said.
"Zen." I gasped, looking up at the boy that was laying a few feet away from me, staring at me confused.
"You're awake." I breathed out.
"The appropriate question would be more like 'you're alive?', but yes I am awake." Zen replied.
"How....what happened to you?" I questioned.
"I was just training, getting better at my way to kill shadow. What did I tell you? The sword feeds on my life essence." He explained, brushing the dust off his coat as he stood up.
I sighed.
"All that matters now is that you're awake and alright. Speaking of Shadow, he just gave me a sign. I was on my way to Peter to tell him." I said in a hurry, standing up and dusting myself off when sharp pain shot through my head.
I hissed, grabbing my head.
"What exactly do you mean by sign? And why is it so quiet around the camp? What did I miss?" Zen asked, looking around him.
I looked at my hands, they were covered in blood. It must've been because of the fall.
"There's a council. We're ready to go to the real world and were waiting for you to wake up. I'll explain the rest once we're at the council, come on." I gestured Zen to follow me and soon after, we came to a stop at the conference hall.
I bursted the doors open and walked in. Inside stood a big wooden table with members of the council sitting around it. All the leaders from every creature camp. I spotted my mother sitting beside Peter who stood at the head, his hands resting on the table in a business-like mannor. He looked older, wrinkles had started to form around his eyes and mouth and his hair was an ash blonde colour. He looked round my mother's age because of his loss of power.
Around the table and the members of the council stood a few of the Lost Boys. Nate and Alek standing amongst them.
"Jade, we're in the middle of something here." Peter spoke up, seeming annoyed, his voice deep.
His eyes then landed upon Zen who entered the conference hall and came to a stop behind me.
