Another long night had passed once I had woken up. As usually, Sage was in the bed as well. I frowned madly at him. I still wasn't okay with him being in my bed. I wondered though, every night he left my room but I would wake with him being in here. I went ahead and left. I quickly did my normal morning routine and went into the living room and the dining room to get breakfast. Maybe it was lunch. Normally there was food already prepared on the table, but today there was none. I shrugged. I guessed Sage was the one who normally did it, but he couldn't do it in his sleep. I yawned as I passed the door with the message carved into it to get food from the kitchen instead. Curiosity stopped me. I looked back at my room. No sight or sound of Sage besides his snoring. I reached for the door knob. I didn't have much hope for it being open. As I reached to open it, it opened on it's own. I jumped back as Jack walked out. We hit each other and then were in shock as he saw each other. Jack's face was covered in bruises. I hugged him. "I didn't think I'd see you again! I thought you disappeared." I whispered to keep Sage asleep. "Heh, sorry. I was... busy." I knew he was lying. "So you've been busy hurting yourself?" I gestured to his bruises. He shook his head yes and then chuckled. "Are you the one who makes the food?" I noticed his "Kiss the Cook" apron. He nodded again. He looked around franticly. He pulled my wrist and dragged me into the farthest corner of the kitchen. "I have to tell you something." his eyes wide. I nodded my head with a confused look.
"I was just a normal kid. I was the one who sat in the back of the classroom and did nothing but stare out the window. I stayed away from drama and kept to myself. But people would still bully me for being such a 'freak'. I had no friends and nothing worth living for. I wanted to end it all. I had plans to and everything. But then Sage showed up. At first he acted nice and became my only friend. I told him everything. I thought he was kind of like some sort of angel. He showed up out of no where and was the only one to stand up for me. We weren't just friends, we were best friends. Or that what I thought. On day after school, we sat on top of a hill and were just talking about normal things. Until he brings up love. 'Have you ever been in love?' he would say. I would just shake my head no and forget about it, but then he continued. 'I was. Still am. This girl I'm in love with. I need you to find her for me and could you help me with something? I have some information that she will be moving here soon. I need you to find her and follow her for awhile.' he asked me so calmly I just agreed. I didn't want to lose him. I did whatever he said. I followed you. I took pictures of you and then shared them to him. The scary thing was he has no past. No one knows who he is. He doesn't have a family. I just had to tell you I'm sorry for doing that to you. For doing all of this to you. T-Tonight will be my last night and I know it. Just escape and tell my parents."
I was shocked. Stunned. I couldn't move. It was all so sudden to me. I couldn't even think. "(Name)?" I heard Sage say from the bedroom. Jack's eyes widened even more. He gave me hug and then rushed back into the room. I stood in the kitchen, still shocked. Sage lazily walked into the room. "There you are (Name)!" he smiled happily. He gave me a slight kiss on the cheek. "Are you okay? Do you want some food? I'll make you whatever you want!" he giggled. The rest of the day continued as normal. I went to bed early, still haunted about what Jack had said. Sage had came to bed too. I closed my eyes and faked sleeping. After a few minutes of Sage putting his arm around me and waiting, he finally left. He whispered to me, asking me if I was awake. Once I didn't respond he got up and left. First he went into the spare bedroom and grabbed the keys. Then he walked into the room beside my, which was the weapon room. I was a small hand gun in his hand as he walked towards the door that had been carved on. I waited a few seconds and then followed after him. I crouched down beside the door and peered though the small crack. I saw Jack on his knees looking as if he was praying silently. Then I saw Sage. He held the gun and threw it around as if it was nothing. "You knew this was coming. I finally have (Name) now. We don't need you anymore. Don't take it personal though. I liked you. We could have been real friends I believe. But you just had to fall in love with my (Name)! Didn't you?" Sage walked in a circle around Jack. "Just don't try to run and this will be easier for me and you." he said as he placed the gun on the back of Jack's head. I had to close my eyes as a loud bang echoed thru the house. I didn't have time to react; I just ran back to the bedroom. I jumped back into the bed and covered my face with the blanket. Sage walked back in seconds later. He sat down on the edge of the bed and petted my head. "Everything's perfect now (Name)." he whisper. He was talking more to himself then me. "How could you," I mumbled. He looked down at me. "What? How could I what?" his tone was already angry. "Kill him! Jack! Your friend!" I sat up and started to yell. "He was in love with you! How could I not?" he stood up. "You don't even know that. Besides what's so wrong with that?" I got up as well. "You're... You're only suppose to see me! Only me. No else. No one can get in the way of us." he grabbed my arms and his eyes watered. "I can't even look at you. You psycho!" I spit at him. He stumbled backwards. "Wrong choice," he held up his gun. I didn't care what he did. I wanted to be out of this. I never wanted to see him again.
A strong aroma of blood fill the air. The calming sound of a ticking clock nearby, and the not so quite bangs of a gun. The feeling of panic and fear mixed with pain. No one around, just a psycho. My body desperate to rest while my brain tries to convince me to keep fighting. But sometimes the body wins over the mind. My vision blurring as I give up and start to sink into darkness. The psycho watched and then started to cry. Just before I fell into a deep sleep, another loud bang was heard. And then nothing.

"Why are we here? This house had been empty for years." a cop asked his coworker a question as they walk up to the little beach house. "We got some reports of loud gun shots and even a bad rotten smell." the other replies. They knock on the door but get no answer as they suspected. "Guess we're breaking in." he sighed and then started to kick down the door. They both groaned and covered their noses once the strong smell hit them both. "You go that way and I'll check over here." the cop pointed to the left and right. He went down the left hallway and knew exactly which room to investigate first. The strong smell came from a closed bedroom door. He pulled out his gun and slowly opened the door. He was shocked by the sight in front of him. He quickly got out his walkie talkie. "We've got two dead teenagers in that beach house we've been getting reports of. We need some down here as soon as possible."
