Hello again! I've had this idea stuck in my head for a while and decided it was finally time to write it out. It's just a short, sweet, and sappy moment between our two favourite characters. I wanted to see them happy.

I highly recommend the song, it's absolutely beautiful. It was my inspiration behind the entire piece.

Let me know what you think! Don't forget to leave a comment and a vote if you enjoyed it.

P.s. I apologize if the Italian isn't grammatically correct. If you see a mistake, please let me know and I will try to fix it :D

These characters belong to the magnificent RobThier!

There was magic in the air.

Lilly had never believed in it much until now, but there was something different about the world around her. She couldn't make out it what it was, but it was there, lingering in the warm air. An intoxicating layer of joy. Magic.

There was seemingly an otherworldly sense in the large square, feeling almost as if they stepped back into time.

She could almost see it in the depths of people's eyes that, maybe, all the legends that she's been told have been true all of these years. Perhaps, the gods did truly walk among the mortals on nights such as these, spreading joy and felicity with the people.

Under the twilight sky, the candles and lanterns shone in the courtyards and the streets and created a warm atmosphere full of life. People milled about in their bizarre and interesting costumes, decked with their unique masks. Children's laughter and screams of delight lit up the alleys, and the buzz of excitement and enjoyment poured from every corner of the city.

It was hot; the air sizzled in the square, it was the heat of euphoria amongst the people that fuelled the passion and gaiety. She felt warm and alive.

Occasionally, Lilly felt a cool breeze stir from the sea and felt content.

The animation on people's faces and their festive mood was contagious. She felt it, as the sensation coursed through her blood.

Lilly had been smiling and laughing the entire night, and she was surprised that her cheeks had not begun to ache from it all.

Lilly felt happy. Truly, incandescently happy for probably the first time in her life.

The beautiful drawl of the violin sent shivers down her back, as the music guided her into the warm, welcoming arms of someone very dear to her. She felt as if she was on a cloud, weightless and free, as she was spun around and led down the aisle in the cheerful dance.

The most breath-taking blue eyes stared back at her from behind a beautiful mask, standing out brightly in the candlelight's golden haze. They twinkled with amusement and laughter, making her heart beat faster in her chest.
