Maddie POV
I was about to break down in tears. I couldn't hold in anymore. just tell me where my mom was.
"I'm calling the hospital!" I say and throw my hands up In defeat.
I grab my phone out and dial the hospital.
"Hi how may I help you?" A sweet voice said I to the phone.
"Uhhh yes! is there a Mrs. Perkins there in the hospital?" I ask frantically.
"No. sorry. I will let you know if there is." the lady said.
"Oh ok thank you." I say frantically. My mom wasn't in there! where else could she be?!
"No problem, anything else?" the lady says.
"Yes! is there anybody there with the last name Espinosa?" I ask.
Matthew gave me face of hope.
"Yes there is! a woman, a man, and a boy." the lady said and I could hear the key board typing.
(sorry I don't know Matthews full family)
"Thank you. bye." I say and hung up.
Matthew was so happy.
I start pacing back forth. I bite my nails. Im freaking out.
"Does anybody know this woman?!" a firefighter shouts out.
i look over it was my mom.
She was burned and I couldn't see much.
"YES! THAT IS MY MOM!" I shout.
The firefighter runs over and looks sad.
"I'm sorry to say, but she didn't make it." he said and looked so sad to say the bad news.
I looked over to see my mom burned and not moving.
I start crying. I fall to the floor and cry.
People start looking at me but I didn't care.
Matthew picks my up and carries me over to the grass that was left.
I was crying so hard.
The firefighter looked so sad on the news he had to tell me.
