"Hoy Menggaynita!" Coleen threw her pillow at her sister's bed. "Tumigil ka na kakangiti diyan! Tulog na oy!"

"Tay oh, yan si Menggay dis oras na ng gabi may katext pa."
The Mendozas were seated around the dining table. It was just Coleen, Meng, Tatay, and their Nanay who was currently finishing up the last batch of scrambled eggs with Yaya Pe. Coleen hasn't stopped throwing Meng teasing glances.
"Tigilan mo ko ah. Di naman kita pinapakielaman kahit nagmumukha kang turumpong kankarot kapag kinikilig ka sa mga text ni Mike ah!"
Their tatay looked up at them, studying them silently. "Meng, ngayon dating ng manliligaw mo di ba?"
"Uh... di naman po siya nanliligaw."
"Pupunta na dito, di pa manliligaw? Aba Menggay umayos ka ah," Nanay sat on the right side of their Tatay. "Anong tawag niyo diyan ngayon? Fling-fling?"
Coleen choked, looking at their Nanay. "Saan niyo natutunan yan nay? Kay Dean ba?"
"Tsaka hindi naman po fling-fling Nay," Meng defended. "Kaya nga pinapunta ko dito, para makilala niyo."
"Ibig sabihin, pumasa na sa'yo? Kasi pinapa-assess mo na sa'min eh."
