Did you hear the slamming door?
They moved forward and my heart died.
They moved forward and my heart died.
Please, please tell me what they looked like,
Did they seem afraid of you,
They were kids that I once knew,
They were kids that I once knew.
I can say it but you won't believe me,
I opened my mouth to say that I believed him, though I still had quite a bit of doubt clouding my mind and thoughts about me believing Seto.
You say you do but you don't deceive me,
It's hard to know they're out there,
It's hard to know that you still care-
His eyes glowed and then suddenly returned to it's original colour, it's usual soft bown and he fell back onto the cushions/pillows, asleep.
3rd person POV
Timber had left the moment Carrie had shown signs of being in a magically induced trance.
Carrie was left speechless as she saw what Seto had gone through as a stray tear rolled down her cheek. He had fallen back into a deep sleep after those images were showed to her. She hurriedly wiped it away, unaware at first that she was on the verge of sobbing. She smiled sadly, after all, wasn't what they had all gone through equally painful and heart-wrenching in its own way?
She stood up, teleported outside, and closed her eyes just for a second before opening them again, while still smiling sadly. It was like as if she was accepting whatever Fate was going to throw at her.
She telported back in after standing in the moonlight a little longer, and summoned a quilt to cover Seto and whispered a 'goodnight'.
By now, Carrie thought of him as a younger brother, even though he was older than her by a few years, and he had run away instead of saving her when she was younger. She thought the same for her one older brother and one younder brother who were now quite busy with all their duties, so she didn't see them as often anymore.
She exited the room and walked to her own and sat down on her bed. Suddenly feeling a wave of emotion that was undescribeable, and felt like as if it was closing in on her, crushing her, and then tossing her aside like another useless doll that the world forgot as time moved on.
A stray tear fell down yet again, causing her to messily scribble a wolf and cause it to come alive, only for her to hug it and let it comfort her as bittersweet yet salty tears dripped down her cheeks.
Burying her head into the wolf's fur, her muffled sobs gradually turned into silent tears that streaked down her face every once in a while as she drifted off into a deep sleep full of jumbled dreams.
3rd person POV :D
~Dreamland~
1st dream~
Gem whirled around and smiled. Carrie and Timber were watching her practice flying in the Nether. Suddenly the landscape mixed and swirled, mixing all the colours together and gradually became the orange and red hues of the Nether.
2nd dream~
She then saw the usual sight of the Nether, Netherrack, pigmen, and the occasional Ghast making it's familiar screechy noise.
Hi!
Narrator here!
Did you know that when the Ghasts make their familiar screechy noise, they are actually not communicating, nor finding a mate, but they are actually feeling the pain of a fellow Ghast being killed?
Yes, they actually feel each other's pain! They are all connected to each other, whether they have relations or not, like connected via their soul! Isn't that interesting? Well, at least you gained some new knowledge today, albeit how useless it may be! :D
Bye~!
She then finally took notice of the Netherbrick Fortress in the distance. Excitedly flying towards it, she squinted her eyes to make sure it was the one she always frequented. Confirming that it was the one she saw almost every other alternate day, she flew even faster, a purely joyful expression on her face as she sped towards the Fortress.
Landing on her feet as she flew to a stop, her wings folded and she immediately ran in, expecting her friend to suddenly appear and smirk as she triggered the trap that her friend had set, and blow her up. Then her brother would come along and sigh while shaking his head with a hint of a smile on his lips that made his overall tired-looking face a little brighter, a little younger.
However, she was met with an eerie silence as she made her way through the Netherbrick Arched walkway, with only the sound of lava bubbling and the occasional grunt of a pigman to accompany her. Her feet sinking slightly as she padded on the soft, furry and fluffy coloured carpet, she made her way through the seemingly never ending twists of the corridors in the Nether Fortress.
She frowned anxiously, as she tried ro stem down the rising panic inside of her as she continued to walk through all the corridors of the Fortress while calling their names. Reaching the very last room, which was her room that she would normally sleep over in, she pushed it open-
-to reveal her brother and her friend jumping out and yelling in unison: "hAPPEH BIRTHDAY CARRIE!"
She stood there, rooted to the ground as a huge wave of relief washed over her, as she saw that her brother and friend was alright. She rushed forward and hugged them both, with slight tears in her eyes, as she muttered, "I was so worried about you guys- Please don't do that ever again, promise me." Pulling away, she wiped the tears away, and put out her pinky for them to pinky promise that they would never attempt something like that again.
"Now what are we waiting for? Let's have a SANStastic party!" She yelled joyfully, while getting a weird look from her friend and brother.
The dream slowly faded away as she came back to reality and woke up, finding her wolf still curled up next to her and her hugging it like a soft toy. She flashbacked (is that even a legit word-? O_o|l) to the dream and her lips curled up into a slight smile, and the atmosphere in the room turned lighter, and brighter. She tried her best to rub off the dried tear tracks on her face as she walked to the bedroom window, the wolf following her.
... That was when she heard a yelp as someone woke up in an entirely different enviroment than what they were used to.
