It's 6 am. Parang sandali lang ako pumikit, umaga agad?? May pasok pa ko. Hayy. I better get myself prepared. I was about to enter the bathroom when I remembered about the text last night. I rushed back to my bed and composed a message. I was hesitant at first but Im really curious kung sino yung nagtext sakin sa dis oras ng gabi. I typed the message with a hint of smile on my face. Sana magreply.

Papunta na kong school. I dont know pero check ako ng check ng phone ko. Its been 2 hours pero wala akong reply na nakukuha.
Ive been wanting to send a message again pero baka kasi kung sino lang naman yun. Baka masyado kong pinagaaksayan ng oras. Baka nantitrip lang. Baka isiping desperada akong makahanap ng magtetext sakin.

"Miss Suarez? May I know why you've been inactive during my whole class?"

Engr. Ramos asked me with an upset tone obvious in his voice. It was my fault. I really wasnt paying attention. Paano ba naman kasi, Ive spent a lot of my time checking my phone every once in a while.

"Uhmmm, Im sorry sir. But I was waiting for an important text message po kasi. May emergency sir." I lied. Yes, di kasi ako sanay na napagsasabihan lalo pa ng mga prof ko. Ive always been consistent and active.

"Uy best, ano yung emergency? Sa bahay nyo? May problema ba?" worried na tanong ni Liv.

"Wala, kunwari lang yun. Shhh. Kwento ko mamaya." pabulong kong sabi. She was about to ask more questions, alam ko kaya tinakpan ko agad bibig nya.

Tapos na yung morning class ko. Lunch time na, sa school ako kumakain. Hassle kasi kung uuwi pa ako. And may afternoon class pa naman ako. Kinuwento ko kay Livia ung text message kagabi. I know, simpleng "Hello." lang yun. Pero di ko alam kung bakit ako masyadong affected.

"Uyyyy, Livia! Ano ba! Akin na phone ko. Uyy ano ba." My phone was out of sight. Tinago nya and I was worried. 5 years na, kilalang kilala ko tong bestfriend ko. I know she'll be texting that unknown sender. I was trying to stop her pero di ko nakuha yung phone. Na send nya na ung text message nung naibalik sakin yung phone ko. And wtf! 10 messages sent????

"Best naman oh nakakainis ka." I said with a slight tone of anger. "Baka isipin naman nitong nagtext sakin na atat akong mgka textmate. Nakakahiya." Seriously nakakahiya. Its like Im begging for someone na pansinin ako. Kulang nalang sabihin kong, Uy magreply ka naman walang nagtetext sakin e. I cant undone what she did kaya wala, badtrip na talaga ako.

*phone beeps*

I immediately checked my phone. To be honest I was quite excited. Baka nagreply na sya. I tried to hide my smile and excitement kay Livia para di ako asarin. Kasi I was acting like Im really pissed off because of what she did. Its from an unknown sender. Napangiti talaga ako kasi I am expecting na eto ung nagtext kagabi. But smile turned into disappointed when I read the message. It was from another person. Too much failed expectations could make your bad mood worse.
