"Tal, Mike was really off at practice today. What's up?" Connor asked as he sat on my bed.
"Maybe it's because he tried to hold me hostage in a classroom for half an hour, or maybe it's because he fucked up are once-was relationship last week." I spat out sarcastically.
"I didn't even know you two broke up, sorry Lia." He whispered. "What happened?" He asked.
"We had a fight last week, and he told me to leave and never come back." I said as tears fell.
"Oh, Talia." Connor sighed and hugged me. "Do I have to beat him up?"
"No," I laughed. "Sam punched him after he kicked me out that day."
"Okay," he sighed. "But I'm still gonna hit him."
"I know, I know. Mike is your best friend though, you wouldn't hurt him."
"Well, why not?" He asked. "He hurt you, I hurt him. Plain and simple. I told him this when you started dating."
"I love you, Connor." I pulled him tighter.
"Love you too, Lia." He smiled down at me.

"Please forgive me!" Mike pleaded for the hundredth time today. I rolled my eyes and walked away. "Why won't you talk to me anymore?" He asked sadly.
"You yelled at me, and that hurt my feelings." I frowned. "You always yell at me. Maybe if you didn't have such a temper, I wouldn't avoid you." I said but regretted it immediately.
"Ta-Talia, you know I have no control over that. You know I've been trying to get help so you wouldn't be scared to be around me. You know that I tried everything to prevent myself from getting angry while I'm around you!" He said, getting louder with everything he said. "Forget it, I don't want you to forgive me! I want nothing to do with you!" He yelled. I let a few tears fall as I turned around and walked out of the classroom.
I was thinking about forgiving him, I really was. But I had to say say something about his disorder, which he is really insecure about, and I didn't mean it at all, well I thought it but I would never tell Mike that it hurt my feelings or that I avoided him for it. God, I'm such a fuck up.

I have been in my room all weekend crying. It finally set in that I couldn't get Mike back, not after he said that to me.
He hasn't even showed up to any classes after Tuesday. He hasn't sent me texts, he hasn't called me. The only one that came in my room, was Connor. And that was only after I called him up because I was balling my eyes out and needed more tissues.
"Tal, I could just call him and ask him to talk to you, he misses you too." Connor smiled at me.
"No, I've been crying and I probably sound worse then I feel." I frowned and rested my head on his chest and closed my eyes.
"I've been to his house a few times this week and he's been miserable without you. Lia, he needs you to forgive him." Connor said.
"Fine, but I, I still don't like that I have to be the bigger person. He should apologize to me. He should come here and talk to me." I said as I lifted my head off of Connor's chest.
"He tried to ya know," he started. "He apologized during school, he texted you, he tried to call you, he even tried to have Jasmine come over with an apology." Connor smiled. "But of course you were too stubborn to even talk to your best friend so you wouldn't know that." He shrugged.
"Your right," I sighed then I started to cry. "I've been horrible to him." I sobbed.
"Want me to drive you there?" He asked. I nodded into his embrace.
Five minutes later we arrived at the Russo house. Connor said that he was going on a blind date with some girl and had to leave, so he was leaving me to face Mike alone. Great.
