Chapter 12: Surprise, Hiccup!

Omniscient POV

As Astrid ran to Hiccup's house, she readied the blindfold she had.

*knock

*knock..

"Whoo, let's do it,"

The door opened and Hiccup was the one who answered.

"Oh, is the party ready yet?"

"Yes! So, let's go!"

"Okay."

Hiccup went outside, and Astrid showed him the blindfold.

"Um, here's the blindfold, wear this."

"Okaaaay? Why again?"

"Because we want to su- I mean um let you see how good we did to decorate."

"Okay, then."

Astrid tightly wrapped Hiccup's eyes with the blindfold.

"Oww! Too tight!"

"Perfect! Now, let's go."

Astrid held Hiccup's hand and led him to the arena.

"Okay..... are we there yet?"

"No. Almost. Hold on a little bit."

As they arrived, Astrid couldn't stop thinking what Hiccup's reaction would be.

Surprised?

Happy?

Glad?

Amazed?

Of course, all of the above!

"Okay, Hiccup. I'm going to remove the blind fold."

"Okay, its so hard to walk around with a silly blindfold on!"

As Astrid took it off, and when the blindfold fell to her hand, Hiccup's eyes focused on Snotlout, Fishlegs and the twins right in front of him.

"SURPRISE!!!"

"TADAA!!!!!!"

His reaction was unbelievable!!

"Whoa!"

The other teens waited for another reply from Hiccup.

"So...?"

"You guys did awesome! So, where's this 'Uncle Betty'?"

The teens laughed at him, leaving a confused face on Hiccup's face.

"What?"

"Hiccup, you don't get it, do you?" Astrid says as she held her waist. "There's no Uncle Betty, silly! It was a fake!!"

"What? What for?"

"So- Ugh, let me explain. This party is for you!"

"M-me?"

"Yeah."

"For what?"

"A Goodbye-Hiccup party!"

Hiccup's eyes are filled with excitement and joy.

"Wow! Really? You guys would do that for me?"

"Yeah!"

"Wow...."

Hiccup was still speechless on what his friends planned for him.

"Who thought of doing this?" he asks.

"Well, This was all ASTRID'S PLAN." Fishlegs says.

Hiccup turned to Astrid with a huge smile.

"Thanks!"

"No prob..." Astrid says while blushing.

"Well, can we start this party?"

"Of course!"

"Bring in the other guests!" Fishlegs says while pointing at the gates.

"Guests?"

"Yeah. Everyone should say goodbye to Hiccup! Well, um.... have fun while his last second day here."

"Good job, Fishlegs!"

"Haha!!!"

Hiccup was so shocked!

His face was unexplainable!! xD

Today, I want to make his night the best he's ever had.

I hope he enjoys the party!!

Dozens of Vikings stormed in the arena, straight to Hiccup, and saying things like:

"See ya in a few years, Chief!"

"Congrats, Hiccup!"

"Cool party!"

"Hey, make sure you don't come back with a girlfriend, Astrid's here waiting!"

Wait.... Grhhh!!!!!

WHAT IS THEIR PROBLEM?!?!

Well, I actually HOPE for that.

Shh!!!! :)

Ahh, there's a reason why there were 4 tables filled with food.

I never thought of inviting anyone. :P

I looked around, with my arms crossed.

'They did a pretty good job.' I say to myself.

As I looked around, a boy with brown hazelnut hair and green eyes was standing in front of me.

Wait, It was Hiccup!

."

"Hi! Do you like your party?"

"Like it? I love it!! Thanks, by the way."

"Why aren't YOU enjoying it?"

"Oh, I'm just.... looking around."

"Let's go eat, if its okay with you..."

He asked me to eat with him!! :D

"Oh! Sure, sure! Of course! Let's go..."

We went to the first table where plates were stacked, then took some crab cakes.

Actually, that's all I plan to eat.

No worries, I'm not on a diet!

;X Kidding, kidding.....

We sat on a log in the corner, and we ate there.

I was having a good time with him!!

It was pretty blushy.... But I'm preventing myself from blushing...

"You know, your dad helped with the decorating."

"Really? How'd ya know?" He asks as he took a bite from his Crab Cake.

"Fishlegs told me. He approved, too. He also played along."

"'Played along'?"

"There's a possibility your gonna ask him, and Tuff said that... am I right?"

"Yeah,"

"You know, you have a bad habit of knowing what's happening, and your trying to figure and guess and Investigate it out.."

"Oooh, I get it now. So.... thank you so much for a party like this..."

"No problem! It's just repayment for the things YOU'VE done."

"Oh. Well, okay then." he says with a huge smile.
