The Silence

....he leaned in and whispered in my ear," Meet me right here after the campfire today."

With that he walked away and left me just standing there. I walked to the Hermes cabin where Luke told me I was staying.

Then, something clicked in ma brain.

LUKE IS THE SON OF HERMES.

Nope. I am not going in that cabin. I turned on my heels and walked the opposite way. I went to find Percy, then I saw him walking with Annabeth.

"Percy!"

He turned around and ran towards me and then he hugged me. I pulled away with my hands still on his shoulders," Why do you smell like toilet water?"

"Long story. Let's go somewhere and talk. BYE Annabeth!" She waved at us.

As we walked to beach we just walked in a comfortable silence. I don't know about him but, I found the silence soothing.

Then Percy answered my question, " I find the silence relaxing."

"So do I." I said.

"Why?" He asked.

" Because your not talking which means silence."

He put his hand over his heart and made a hurt face," How dare you?"

"Well if your asking how I just moved my lips and words came out."

Then it was silent.

" I love it when your quiet."

I shoved him and ssid," Be quite."

Little did I know there was someone watching from afar.
