Chapter 4: The reveal

Kaneki's POV

Why you ask? Because I love you. I don't want to see you hurt. You let it happen because you love me too right?

Kaneki: Since we're dating now... I thought I should tell you.

(m/n): Yeah.

You're drying my hair on the couch.

Kaneki: I am... er actually, was your secret admirer.

You chuckle.

(m/n): You little dork. Why'd you stay secretive? You know I'm gay right?

Kaneki: Yeah. I know. I just... felt embarrassed and didn't want Hide or anyone to know.

(m/n): And you probably still want it that way? Knowing you yes?

Kaneki: Yes. If you don't mind of course.

(m/n): Anything for you.

You finish and I pull you down to the floor and sit across from you. I look you straight in the eye.

Kaneki: Truth or dare?

(m/n): Oh. Um dare.

Kaneki: I dare you to kiss me.

You blink then smile.

(m/n): You could ask you know. You don't have to play a game.

Kaneki: Just kiss me.

You kiss me and then smirk.

(m/n): Truth or dare?

Kaneki: Truth.

(m/n): Are you a yandere?

Kaneki: I-I don't think S-so. Where did that even come from anyway?!

(m/n): I don't know. Just thought I'd ask.

I sigh.

Kaneki: Truth or dare?

(m/n): Truth.

Kaneki: H-how do you feel about ghouls?

(m/n): Ghouls? Well to be honest, they're pretty cool. I've always wanted to touch a kagune too. They look really cool and they're all glowy. Truth or dare.

Kaneki: Dare.

(m/n): I dare you to tell me your biggest secret.

Kaneki: W-what?!

(m/n): It won't change my mind about you. You trust me right?

I told you. I'm not going to hurt you. "But you're hurting me right now by locking me up in here! You're scaring me!" I don't understand how your mind works. I'm helping you.

Kaneki: I-I'm a ghoul...

You look at me surprised. You don't say anything and I start getting worried.

Kaneki: Please say something (m/n).

(m/n): Does that mean you have a kagune?

I nod and you smile brighter than the sun.

(m/n): Can I see it?!

Kaneki: S-sure, just be careful.

I release my kagune and you slowly crawl closer to me.

(m/n): Can I touch it?

Kaneki: Yeah...

You grab one of my tentacles and squish it. I blush.

Kaneki: [It feels weird! It's for cutting things! It's not supposed to be squished!]

(m/n): It's really squishy. I thought it would be stiff and sharp but it's not at all.

You become all sparkly.

(m/n): I wanna touch all the kagunes.

Kaneki: Just don't go out looking for ghouls.

(m/n): I won't.

Kaneki: I wonder...

(m/n): What?

Kaneki: Are you ticklish?

You become pale.

(m/n): N-no! I'm n-not ticklish!

I smirk.

Kaneki: Oh? But you stuttered.

(m/n): N-no I d-didn't!

You cover your mouth when you realize you did. I smirk.

Kaneki: I bet you are ticklish~.

I grab your arms and legs. I drag my finger down you foot and your toes curl while you pretty much fail at holding back a laugh.

(m/n): N-no! Kaneki please!

This is your new home. Why can't you be happy with me like before. Smile for me please? It hurts me to see you sad.

After a few minutes I let you go and you catch your breath. You look at me with a creepy smile.

(m/n): It's my turn now.

I turn pale like you did. You tackle me and start tickling me.

Kaneki: (m-m/n)! I'm sorry! P-please!

You stop and laugh while helping me up.

I'm growing bored waiting for you to accept reality. I'm growing tired of fighting with you. Just accept this. Just accept me. It's too late for you anyway.
