a few days you say?
it feels like months away from you
like the concept of time has been kicked back to the dawn of it and i must wait even longer
longer to see your beauty in all its glory before my eyes
longer to hear your voice and see your smile light up an entire room, no, an entire building
longer to spend time with perfection in all its very pure form
longer to witness every little thing about you that makes me unable to hold back a smile
but ill count every extra heart beat you give me as i wait
every smile
every laugh
every burning pair of checks
because it'll be worth it in the end
