Chapter 96. Merry Love

He smiles before pointing elsewhere as I also follow his index finger. To my surprise, I found him standing by the staircase with white shiny tuxedo on. With his hair brushed upwards. He's the one Kai referred to.

"Take your time," Jongin whispers through her ear with a smirk on his lips before leaving her who's stoned on her position. Baekhyun noticed my presence and as soon as our eyes meet again, he stares at me for a moment before curving his lips into a handsome smile.

It is just me? He just smiled at me? I don't know why but I began nervous and my heart starts pounding rapidly when he's approaching me. I don't know what to do right now. I wanna run away but it seems like I'm glued on my position. I cannot even move an inch or just a single nerve will do.

And this weird feeling in me has come alive! There was this crazy creatures flying inside my stomach which I don't know why. Omo! He's almost near me! What to do?

As the time comes that he's now in front of me, the smile never left his face. "Hi," He muttered as I blink my eyes countless of times. I know that I heard it but it looks like a whisper to me. "H-hi m-m-me?" I pointed myself, still with wide-eyed. My index finger is even now shaking.

He chuckles and nodded his head, "O-oh uh.. H-hello! G-good morning- I-I mean! Good evening, Master B-baekhyun," I bowed at him ninety degrees. My bow last long for 10 seconds actually.

Now that I realize of what I'm doing, I immediately straighten my posture and look at him nervously. "You don't need to be too formal, it's okay," I didn't utter anymore since I'm out of words.

"It'll be our turn sooner or later. So let's go?" He curved his arm for me to cling in.

Baekhyun's POV

She stares at me and back to my arm, still with her widened eyes. I bite the inside of my cheeks, trying my best not to shake my arm in nervousness. Truth to be told, I was stunned by her beautiful and goddess-like beauty. I was even amazed when she arrived who was brought by Kai. I'm really too shy to approach her at the very first place. Now I know that she's my weakness.

I mentally snap out when she finally cling her arm to mine. In an instant, my heart race faster than before, and that made me secretly smile for some reason. We walk towards the stairs while waiting for our turn. I know that she feels awkward towards me right now since the last time we talked personally was at the West Bridge. Where AhRee revealed herself. And that was also the time that she cried, and also the time that I confessed, which she didn't believed.

And speaking of AhRee, we're in good terms now. I don't know actually but she's the one who told me to forgive her for everything, for causing me many troubles. She also told me that she'll now stop and told me to be stay as friends. That was too confusing in my part since she never told me the reason why.

But the most suspicious part was that, she told me to take good care of Taeyeon and never break her heart nor her feelings.

I smiled while staring at her who unconsciously didn't know that I am. "And now, for our most awaiting part of participation! Are you guys ready to know who are our next participants?" The hostess says while the crowd cheers aloud. The host chuckles, "Well, let's not waste any time and let us all witness the special performance of our beloved couple! Black Pearl leader's Byun Baek-Hyun! And our present star! The Third Angel, Kim Tae-Yeon!"

As the hostess and host mentioned our names together, the crowd cheers louder. The red curtains in front of us, slowly rolls aside. Revealing both Taeyeon and I in front of the crowd.
